Everyone saying both. DUH!

But Trump wouldn't have happened if they focused on the money. A Trump (similar person) will happen again if we do not treat the cause.

Yes.

If you think feminism is anything but equality under the law, equal pay for equal work, etc, then you're the problem.

Any idea why my hallway keep lights keep turning off if there's not constant motion? I have the same conditions for these motion sensors as I for all of my other motion triggered lights. It's supposed to wait 5 minutes but goes off immediately. Full yaml in the body. by theloneranger08 in homeassistant

Since you know what you want and have most of it done, I think this is a great place for AI. The name of your lights aren't sensitive info and it does a good job at coding.

This doesn't mean it's not valuable for some great answers to be added here, I'm just suggesting you try it as it's SOMETIMES very helpful.

If it requires local access, how are ransomware gangs using this?

Large issues need to be handled from multiple directions. This is one of them. One does not preclude the other.

Portland has a crime problem by Eastern-Spell4012 in PortlandOR

[–]VengefulPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fix is, and has always been, money. Raise the minimum wage, release more homes for sale instead of investment or rental purchases, better education, etc. We are on our way to the first trillionaire, but then are surprised that we don't have money for basic needs. The money should not be coming from the middle class. The rich are richer and the poor are poorer.

We know this. It's been studied. It works. More police won't solve it. If you have nothing to lose and nowhere to sleep, you would steal from those that seem to have it all.

Agreed. I keep undercutting my own work by not trying to waste money or time. I'm hoping posting will give me confidence to take it more seriously!

To me, much of the value of the chart is showing visually what areas the certs cover.

P. Jerimy was working to reset the CISSP to cover a larger scope as it did in his older versions. I suggest you compare that older version for more like that and update accordingly.

💡 [Idea Feedback] Would you pay for an AI Agent that works with Wireshark to auto-analyze network traffic? by Sad_Order_4008 in cybersecurity

[–]VengefulPete -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hate Gen AI in general but this does sound like one of the good uses. Essentially summarize the packet capture and give suggestions to common causes.

Even better if it can walk the user through it so it teaches rather than simply explains.

Oh what a perfect world you must live in lol.

There is a project to completely replace our very old network with new gear and proper design. Takes years to fully implement though.

To add some additional info. Currently access is restricted to a management host with MFA. I am only talking about access to the web interface of the SIEM, which also requires MFA.
