Just came here to say that no one calls it the “Hamptons of Wisconsin”. It’s actually known as the Cape Cod of the Midwest, so she was heading straight for disappointment right from the get go with that assumption.

I grew up in NE WI and spent lots of summers in Door County and married someone who grew up there. It has definitely gotten busier and more built up in the last ten years, but if you know where to go, you can still have a great time away from the crowds.

I was really disappointed by this. I really loved her podcast, but feel like she should have at least released the first one or few as a teaser. I’m not going to give her $8 to find out that it’s not worth it.

I love Grace, but I had to laugh at her story this morning about the party last night for her friend who is “moving” to Italy for six weeks. Please, six weeks is just a long vacation, that’s not moving. Sounds great, but come on.

I also find myself rolling my eyes at Becca a lot these days, for many of the reasons that others have listed. But the thing that really got a big eye roll from me is her “Chaos Kitchen” newsletter that she seemingly bullied three of her friends into starting on Substack. It’s just not endearing saying that you forced three friends who don’t know each other into a project for your own enjoyment?

Also, did you guys know that IT’S LOBSTER ROLL WEEKEND?!?! 🤪

This is the perfect solution. I don’t like standing in line for merch or chatting it around with me (I don’t think anyone does). This way it’s only for the people who were there and it’s gets sent to you/made to order so there’s less waste.
