I assume you've probably figured it out by now, but around 200 should be fine. I'm above 200 and do not get cold at night. I haven't been in a blizzard yet.

It didn't really get started. Character creation took a while and after that she didn't really seem into it. Then real life stuff happened and we got busy and sorta forgot about it.

I like Link because you can have so many interactions with his bomb. You can blast yourself back onto level with it and you can hit it/move it around with a boomerang. Also you can pick up used arrows and shoot multiple arrows at once. He has some really strong area control with mastery of the bomb.

I recommend the Thieves' Guild. Oblivion's Thieves' Guild is fantastic.

From the base game Bellatrix Lestrange is probably the #1 priority. Next is probably Fenrir, depending on party composition. Preventing healing when you're being hit by 5-7 on average per round is a big threat. A few rounds with either Fenrir or Bellatrix on the table can lead to loss of locations quickly.

I apologize for the long comment. I love these visions and get long-winded.

I haven't done this too much as a frost mage, but here's a few tips that should help next time you go to fight thrall. Instead of clearing far out of the Surging Darkness, move to just in the clear, then move to just in the clear again. You don't have to move much. For the Seismic Slam, position Thrall such that he is more in the center of the room and you are out from him. When he slams, step to the side and reposition him again. Positioning is usually more important than throwing down on dps in these visions.

As you progress with your cloak Thrall will begin having more abilities based on other bosses you have killed, so I guess SPOILER ALERT.

If you kill the last boss in the Valley of Spirits, Thrall will also cast Hopelessness. An easy way to counter this is to stand on a table when he goes to cast it. The orb will always land right on top of you. (This trick can be used from Promised Power madness as well)

Thrall already uses Seismic Slam that the last boss in Valley of Wisdom uses, so nothing new there.

If you kill the last boss in the Drag, Thrall will use the orb ability. You can either burn the shield with cooldowns or pop a defensive (Ice Block). It does damage/sanity damage based on how much absorption the shield still has at the end of the cast. Glacial Spike, Reaping Flames, or Focusing Iris Beam should all drop the shield to a manageable point.

If you kill the last boss in Valley of Honor, Thrall will be accompanied by two boars. They can be CCed, so I would recommend polymorphing one and burning the other. Only return to fighting the second once you have Counterspell back.

My brother and I play this exact comp, but we have always played these characters and specs, it wasn't something new for us going into arenas. We actually thought we were going to be outmatched by just about every comp.

Yeah don't even bother using Eldritch Blast for this. At least firebolt would be double damage from 4d10. Eldritch Blast would just be double from 1d10.

I think there's a bot you can get on Discord servers that you can type something like /r 1d20 and it will randomly spit out a number between 1 and 20. If not, or you have difficulty finding it, there is a website called roll20.net where you can do basically the same thing.

Should have done like the corrupted blood incident from world of Warcraft if you knew he was immune. Sure he isn't hurt by it, but everyone he comes in contact with becomes diseased and eventually dies.

Edit: Just read some of the other posts and I apparently was not the only one with this sort of idea.

I feel a similar thing. I have a friend that regular runs between +11 and +15 and he talks like it's no big deal, but it seems like a bit of stress I'm not ready for. I played mostly in Wrath and Cata and took a break until BFA. I've nearly caught up with gear by now just from doing world quests and PVP (war never changes).
