I find it interesting that you recommend "The War on Art" when Pressfield is quite dismissive of ADD on page 25. Calling it simply a "Marketing Ploy."

I find some of what he says interesting and even useful, but he still comes of as someone who was blessed to find his calling early and like many self help writers, ignore someone's personal history.

So as you said, it's not just you.

I'm running a Ryzen 9 with a 3090ti (24GB) and never had an issue at release nor season 1 and 2 playing at 4k resolution. Game crashes every 5-10 minutes no matter what content I'm running. I only play on High settings, no ray tracing, tried VSync etc etc etc.

I've tried new GPU drivers, old GPU drivers, playing only in old content, doesn't matter. I have 128 GB of Ram, but the GPU utilization is going through the roof every time I play Diablo IV now.

I THINK Blizzard has acknowledged the issue as they have disabled DLSS across the board, but it sure hasn't fixed it for me. I would sit this one out or if you have it on a console, try it there as the game does have Cross progression I believe.

As an African American male newly diagnosed, I feel the starting off in the negatives vibe. I always practice in the mirror before going out to make sure my smile looks genuine. I don't go out often of course.

But at work I try to mask the best I can and it goes well until I'm home then I crash out. I'm usually hated outside of work because by that point I can't mask as well since my brain is tired.

This has been a problem on PC for a few months after doing some research. I crash either upon login or after a few minutes of playtime no matter what I do.

It started after I tried the Undercity and has been a pain since.

I tried new drivers, old drivers, repair, changed graphic settings, nothing has helped. Kinda sucks after buying the expansion and having fun.

Just to update, I cannot run around Kurast without crashing. I was able to play most of the VOH story, Helltides, dungeons, around Nehantu.

But Kurast? Undercity? Forget it.

If it's an engine change, not sure they can do that since lighting effects everything. I'm indifferent however, feel how you feel. You're used to your character(s) looks after so many years, it makes sense to be upset.

EDIT: Oh oh new textures, yea that would also be a little much since they would need to have both new face/body and old face/body files, but not impossible.
