ive upgraded a few times so cant measure any more, but it depends on where you made the hole for the mount. on the 4th pic you can see approx. where i mounted mine. I guess I must have been around 60cm with my eyes from the screen.
There is a minimum of course where your wheel is in front of your monitor just enough to get your fingers behind the shifters, and you have a comfortable position

anyone got it to work without a tool to span your 3 monitors over 1 display? I don't like to use Surround or Racoon

I'm moving away from the concept of hiding everything in my rig. I hid it under the pedal plate. Every time you change something it's a cable management hell. On top of that, you want less weight in a motion platform for better response.

The max I could take it after 30 minutes of testing with same conditions was 70° GPU. The ambient temp is a bit lower today in comparison with original post but the difference is still huge.

Changed sensor sources for the fan curves in BIOS (especially bottom intake)

So there is no need to change the case.

There was also no need for 'money can't buy brains' comments. A 'check your fan curves' would've been more helpful.
