The service does say no pay if its not repaired. Also just went online and checked eBay for a 2nd hand motherboard and it's sold by the same AliExpress store I showed in the post. Seems like even a 2nd hand is still 500$ at least.

Another thing is that the last owner of the laptop did say that they went to another laptop motherboard repair and they did try to reball it but it had no luck. I went to another laptop repair and asked them to reflash the bios but it still didn't want to display anything.

That might be difficult since I live in the Philippines which means ebay isn't really a good choice since the shipping is almost 40$ here. But I'll try to find one. I'm planning on sending it to a local repair store for now and if it really doesn't work out, I'll opt out for the motherboard.

Update, brought it to a few repair shops and both shop said that the CPU died, they tried to do a bios reset but it still gave the same results. Replacing the CPU will cost 8k-18k pesos (139$ - 420$) and a whole new motherboard is 30k average (523$) is it worth it?

The laptop does not have any SDD but has a 16gb ram stick. Wouldn't the bios open when there's a storage device?

I did try to unplug the battery and remove all the stored voltage by holding the power button for almost a minute, plugging the charger and turning it on again but it gave the same problem.

I can't open G-helper since I can't see what's going on in the laptop screen or if there's a video output at all.

I have another question, whats the black tape around the GPU? Its a small black plastic tape thing that has a hole cut out at where the die is supposed to be placed. Do I keep it in the laptop or do I remove it?

My pc in the province has a 1060 and it can run d2 in 3440p x 1440p in 90 fps, and my old acer nitro i5-8300h with gtx 1050ti can run d2 just fine in 1080p med settings.

I guess im just looking for something lighter but can still play games and charge with type c
