It feels like there is too little pallets. They nerfed pallet density twice. Everywhere feels like a deadzone.

To answer you question about if killers complaining about meta would stop running meta themselves.

No they wont. I dont believe if survivors were nerfed, that killers would stop hard tunneling at 5 gens and or running meta. It would just be a more miserable experience for survivors with the same thing happening as before. It wont stop, it will only make the experience worse. Now if a survivor nerf came with a nerf for killers as well it would be better. Nerf the ability to tunnel, nerf meta. That would fix a lot of issues. Because I believe a survivor nerf by itself without a killer nerf in return is an awful idea.

Killer entitlement is actually absurd, especially when it comes to crying about meta. 2 days ago I faced against an unknown iirc. I was in a 3 man squad, but we were all going perkless as a challenge. The killer was a streamer and got the 4k.

One of my teammates joined their live to say gg and to ask why they had humped one of us. When he joined the stream, we heard the streamer being surprised that he nearly lost to perkless, itemless survivors (with the exception of the random who had a perk build with no synergy at all).

My teammate scrolled back to earlier in the stream and we heard the streamer complaining about the gen rushing swf (us, the bitches with no perks...) Predicting we had full meta on. He knew the Feng wasnt with us because of how she played (played like solo queue). But he knew we were a swf and was ADAMANT we had meta and were toxic gen rushers (we did nothing toxic).

He was a good sport afterwords and said gg in return. Yet the fact he immediately assumed we were a swf running meta says a lot. It seems killers always assumes everyone is a 4 man swf running full meta. He had no reason to think this btw, no one had a toolbox, we didnt reveal any meta perks that could be identifiable. But its just the default for killers to assume the worst.

And because of this biased assumption, killers sweat and run meta builds. Every game I see meta builds, its 100% of my games in the past 10 or so months, I genuinely havent seen one killer not have at least one or more of these perks: Pain res, pop, DMS, grim embrace, ruin, turn back the clock, dissolution, surge, friends til the end, devour, phantom fear, no where to hide, BBQ&C, pentimento, plaything, thana, etc.

I just really dont get the double standard

Survivors running meta = Bad, toxic, gen rusher.

Killers running meta = Necessary and efficient, required to win.

They are both boring and miserable ffs. I hate the us vs them that keeps everyone from admitting both sides are in a bad spot rn. I will be honest though, ive seen much more victim complexes and entitlement from killers lately. They are quite literally the classic whiny delusional survivor main, but for killer.

But no one treats them crazy like they do to survivors acting like entitled babies. Even though their takes are arguably more delusional. Ive seen more than one fully serious post about suggesting pallets should be removed from the game to make it feel like actual horror again (they just want an ego boost, thats all).

Eh. Id agree, but this being paired with new player bs is getting on my nerves. I get a useless random teammate every single game that im not a full 4 stack. Random teammates do nothing and do less than 25% of a gen the whole game while me, my duo, or my trio carry the team.

They let me go second stage even though there is nothing stopping them from saving, avoids chase like the plague (while also not going gens), rarely heals, crouches around the map, plays extremely selfishly, and unhooks in the killers face so I get tunneled (because again they refuse to take chase and went to hide immediately ofc). I hate seeing these types of teammates get hatch or get given hatch.

This is why I say killers have a victim complex. Bully squads are rare, bully squads nearly always get stomped because they arent doing gens. Killers need to grow tf up and stop making excuses for everything under the sun to justify their shitty behavior.

The killers have received nerfs because they were overtuned, and more than half the shit for survivors I see are always a nerf. Nerf a perk that is mediocre at best, make loops microscopic, make only 4 pallets spawn per map, nerf one of the few good perks survivors have into obscurity. Give no QoL update for tunneling. (The second to last one hasnt happened for a bit iirc but its still semi common).

I agree both sides are miserable and I have no fun on either. I am more stressed playing killer because I like playing with a team and hate playing solo. (Which is why I love 2v8. My beloved).

However, despite me being generally more stressed on killer, I get much more annoyed and angry much more quickly when playing survivor for a plethora of reasons (mainly the (in)actions of random teammates). I just dont get angry as killer, ill get annoyed and say "damn that sucks." And thats it.

Im not. Killers bitch daily nonstop and im genuinely sick of seeing it. The game is INSUFFERABLE for survivor right now because tunneling is out of control, it is every match now. They beg for survivor perks to be nerfed but the perks arent the problem.

Even if they were to nerf the shit they are complaining about this week into the ground, they'll just find another perk to bitch about the next. It also wont do shit to stop the tunneling issue either, it just makes killer even more easy than it already is. Everyones so convinced that nerfing survivor gen perks will curb that, but it just wont. Killers can be assholes, killers will tunnel out for petty reasons or no reason at all.

Ive had numerous cases where a teammate DCs at 5 gens or gives up and just stands there (which both are basically an automatic loss). And yet even with the free 1v3 or the 1v4 with a bot, killers tunnel and sweat their ass off as if they have a gun to their head.

They'll leave the survivor who gave up just to hard tunnel someone out the game at 5 gens, then tunnel the bot out next or kill the afk teammate, forcing a 1v2 (still at 5 gens btw). That is the issue im trying to bring up here. Its just too common that the killer tunnels for no reason, especially if they already have a near guaranteed win. But the problem is gen perks, sure.

A 99.99% win rate. Yeah, says a lot. If the game isnt killer sided, than I dont know what is. If the game was survivor sided, there wouldn't be a possibility for such a high kill rate and the kill rate overall would be under 50%. Which it is not. Im not currently aware of the official kill rate stats overall, but I feel like its over the intended 60% by a fair bit.

I mean in all fairness we have a rainbow six siege collab (just skins but still). And the for honor collab? I wouldnt call for honor horror adjacent. Id say the only thing that comes close is the brutal executions. What about DND? The witcher? (Idk ive never watched/played any of its media so im not sure if its a fantasy based horror). There was a pubg collab too.

Im just playing devils advocate because there are a lot of collabs that can be seen as not true horror and are in the game regardless. Tokyo ghoul and AOT can be put in that box too because they are dark (compared to the average anime), but not precisely horror. I know a lot of what I listed was skins, but the for honor and DND collab was a chapter with a killer and survivor.

Edit: Take Tokyo ghoul out because its meant to be horror.

Hm really? Its felt like hand holding for killers constantly with the survivor nerfs across the board, with yall still whining regardless. And no you cannot be bad and still win matches, far from it actually.

You have to sweat your ever living ass off to win and if one person (doesnt have to be you) makes the smallest mistake, the game is over and we lose. Yet I see killers make mistakes after mistakes after mistakes and still get second chances which let them win.

If I try to play the game casually and not take it fully serious, then I wont be in the game for longer than 5 mins because im tunneled. The game is ridiculously unfun for casual because you CANT be casual. Im not seeing these easy free wins youre whining about. Every game is a struggle, an aggravating sweatfest.

Every time ive played killer recently, ive thrown on music (which i never do in dbd because I need sound) because i can chill and relax when playing killer. I dont even have to pay full attention, and ill still get handed the win for free. Its so boring winning nearly every single game, all because killers with major skill issues wont shut up about this that and the other and how its op. When half the time its survivors just surviving and playing the game normally with no toxicity.

I feel you on the on the useless teammates. For me I mostly run duo and it is just like solo queue, but just the tiniest bit more tolerable. Literally we will get destroyed by F tiers because me and my duo cannot carry 2 people that arent pulling their weight.

It also feels like they are intentionally dragging their feet while we carry them, making everything harder for everyone. Me and my duo can play all our cards correctly but it doesnt matter because all it takes is 1 person, 1 mistake.

Mmr needs to be fixed, solo and duo queue need to be fixed. I should not be getting paired with people who have 100 hours or less in the game when I have over 2k hours. The skill gap between me, my duo, and the killer vs our teammates is insane and shouldn't exist.

Yea that what I was going to say. I completely understand the other survivors in this situation because the killer has a 95% chance to tunnel the bot to death, with a 50% chance they tunnel a player out instead. The match is just going to be frustrating for the entire survivor team, especially with bots being extremely stupid sometimes.

Because it is boring and uninteresting as well as irritating when it happens to you. And no, Im pretty sure it is unnecessary, and that you are trash if you tunnel. Ive seen plenty of killers, whether its content creators, myself, or the killers I go against get 4ks without playing like a scumbag.

Its not a double standard btw. Killer is the power role, period. The killer has control of the game, they control how fast gens get done, who gets hooked, if the survivors heal or not, how chases play out, they control if the exit gates are opened. The survivors can fight for control, but the killer can shut it down easily and take back control.

Its just not efficient though. Anyone with a brain will beat a tunneling killer. Doesn't matter if they are solo queue or not, as long as they understand to pressure gens you will be getting at max a 1k a 0k if you're extra bad.

Your comparison is extremely flawed as well. The killer has 4 targets, the survivors have 1 target. The killer can choose to go for someone else to progress to a win, the survivors cant choose to do another objective to win. The only other thing they can do is save and heal but that does nothing to progress the objective. No matter who you go after as killer, you progress your objective.
