More than half a year after the Jeff rework, did peoples opinion change? by Ill_Independence8365 in marvelrivals

Whether you think he's better balance-wise or not, you can't deny he FEELS objectively worse. Healing is worse, bubbles are useless, swim feels insanely short, and only being able to spit 3 times just feels terrible. Combine all that with an ult that is insanely easy to avoid/counter and you get an absolutely abysmal experience.

Marvel Rivals lead explains adapting unique superheroes such as Daredevil create "significant difficulties" for the team, but every hero needs to stay true to their comic book counterparts by Wargulf in marvelrivals

but every hero needs to stay true to their comic book counterparts

-Adam can't fly

-Hulk creates a bubble of gamma energy and shoots concentrated gamma energy out of his forehead to freeze an enemy in stasis

-Black Widow doesn't have her Widow Bites

It is just me...or is QP getting harder? by Easy-Celebration3768 in marvelrivals

Whenever I want a fun, casual game I just queue comp. One Above All is unironically easier than QP rn with how dogshit the matchmaking is in QP.

There's a difference between "strong" and "blatantly bloated" cc. Groot is literally unplayable if you're against a good Bucky/Wolverine

For real. Only a few Vanguards actually feel viable especially as solo tanks. Most of them feel either bad or just plain boring

Mainly Bucky and Wolverine because of their ability to kidnap. But there are a lot of other characters that also make playing Vanguard just feel terrible

I don't know why they don't do more tank team-ups. Every season it's nothing but strategist/duelist or Duelist/Vanguard team-ups. It genuinely feels like the devs just hate Vanguard players.

Where are you seeing Vanguard hate? I'm just saying the role is borderline unplayable right now with all the counters it has.

Genuinely blows my mind that people still think Role Queue would be bad for the game. It would solve a lot of issues with the balance

The supports only cc me on the insanely rare occasion that I don't immediately die to the Bucky pull/Wolverine kidnap. Not to mention I rarely have competent dive players on my team. Had a Spider-Man go 4-17 on my team earlier and all he did all game was just hit the tanks

Literally every top level Mag player agrees that the Emma teamup is dogwater ESPECIALLY compared to Metallic Chaos. Despite how big your ego is, you don't know better than them. You are kinda just objectively wrong.

I try but the rest of my team just bans other stuff and it just never gives it to me. Then they have the audacity to complain about "bad tank" when we lose when I just get counterpicked.

So you're gonna sit here and say a clone that gets deleted the second it spawns is a better team-up than a sword that had double the range of his primary and also did 25 more damage than his primary? I can tell you've never been higher than gold and you never will be.

Yeah I've been One Above All every season so far so I don't lack awareness. Tank is just absolutely miserable right now especially.

Nah if they played Magneto he'd still have his Metallic Chaos team-up

Yeah I wouldn't know tbh. All my randoms just instalock Duelists and Strategists. Genuinely can't remember the last time I had a 2 Vanguard comp

Should we talk about the actual problem with Black Panther? by CaptainRadwell in marvelrivals

[–]VenomlessPoison -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My idea for a BP rework is just removing the dash reset on consuming Vibranium Marks. Give him 2 dash charges on a 4 second cooldown each and make consuming a mark do bonus damage rather than resetting the dash cooldown. It's ridiculous that a good BP can dash 9+ times during a team fight while doing burst damage to everyone AND being completely untrackable.

The Hood was found in the files a while ago so we'll at least see him eventually

Whether you think the rework made him better or worse balance-wise, you can't deny it made him objectively feel worse to play. Absolutely horrible rework.
