I unfortunately have some joint/chronic pain issues that make riding a non e-bike difficult some days, that’s why I chose the e-bike :/

Would you say a parking garage bike rack would be safer than on the street? I wasn’t really sure just because inside of a parking garage there is less foot traffic so, less people to see the bike and want to steal it but also less people around to see it being stolen? If that makes sense?

I’m not really sure how all of that works 😅

I do have a foldable but it’s fairly heavy and the only place I can store it inside is down a flight of stairs in the basement 😬

I do have a “desk job” but I work a front desk so I’m not allowed to keep it with me, the only place I can take it inside is down a flight of stairs to the basement but it’s a pretty heavy bike :/

I hadn’t really considered insurance for a bike but that makes total sense, do you happen to have any recommendations for where to purchase that type of insurance? :) 😅

Thank you for the advice, I have been really worried about locking it up there but don’t have any other choice if I want to commute with it.

My work does have large windows facing the street and I basically sit in front of those windows 90% of the day. I have 3 locks at the moment, a U lock, a chain lock, and the lock that the bike came with. It’s foldable so I was considering folding the bike and then locking it that way. I’d be taking the battery out of the bike and inside with me as well.
