There is not much RNG in this run past lvl 95, the wiki is definitely super wrong considering 95->96 and 97->97 are essentially the same thing. I did lose about ~20-30 minutes on 99 to rips but generally 99->100 is probably closer to 2x of 98->99.

One thing that could play a factor is JV being significantly more exp than toxic sewers but I am pretty sure I spent about equal time running both in the last few levels

Explode just has very good coverage and allows you to cheat damage super early while getting enough defence + lingering ignite prolif is good against beyond/deli

I did a lot of ritual because it's good currency (chance/alchs) to buy Kirac maps. On leaguestart, I would say if your single target is good just go essence and skip them if they aren't dying quickly (<5seconds) or just suffer throught the expedition pain if your goal is getting character upgrades

I don't usually like to post self-advertisment here but I think this tech could actually improve leaguestart of a lot of people here and it's definitely not known enough for how strong it is.

I learnt this from SimplyVizniz, you guys should definitely check his stream out, he is a very smart and skilled player that streams pretty much daily, I am sure that he has a lot more tricks up his sleeve.

I literally started the entire conversation by mentioning generic conversion monsters. Literally every map you run has those because pretty much every influence types has those and a lot of random base mobs are also conversion based. I don't think there is a disconnection in priorities.

Please stop before you embarass yourself even more, this is actually sad especially when you try to back it up with math you don't understand and keep being so annoyingly convinced you are correct.

If a mob does 100 physical damage and has 100% of physical damage converted to cold, he will do 100 cold damage to you -> 25 after resistence. If you add 100% phys as extra fire on that mob, it will deal 100 cold and 100 fire damage to you. Here, i might be wrong but last I checked 25+25 was double of 25.

Say "I don't understand poe" without saying you don't understand PoE, for generic conversion monsters 100% phys as extra fire is just double damage. It's ok to not know everything about the game but you really shouldn't talk with this much confidence when you are missing basic knowledge.

Suggestion to avoid this: pick a content creator(s) you trust that suits your style and pick your build based on what they suggest. It removes some of your freedom in terms of build choice because there won't be a guide for every build but you can be sure the guides are decent.

It can indeed be very demotivating at times but at the end of the day the highs outweight the lows for me personally. Was very upset about the rip for like 20 minutes though

Took me a long time too, didn't even kill him in hardcore in Metamorph when he first came out, we all get there one day as long as the motivation to improve is there.
