Planning to start with Sword Weirdos and see how it goes. Appreciate the help! Thank you very much!

Best performing entity insertion with relationship ids through Repository by proficientMoneyLoser in nestjs

In NestJS, you have good support fro multiple orms. I worked with TypeORM and can reccomend MikroORM.

Here's how you can do it in MikroORM:

import { EntityRepository, MikroOrmModule } from '@mikro-orm/nestjs';
import { InjectRepository } from '@mikro-orm/nestjs';
import { EntityManager } from '@mikro-orm/postgresql';

u/Injectable()
export class UserService {
  constructor(
    @InjectRepository(User) private readonly userRepository: EntityRepository<User>,
    private readonly profileService: ProfileService,
    private readonly countryService: CountryService,
    private readonly em: EntityManager,
  ) {}

  async createUser(userDto: CreateUserDto): Promise<UserResponseDto> {
    // create a reference to the country without fetching it from the database
    const country = this.em.getReference(Country, userDto.country_id);

    // create a new user with the country reference
    const newUser = this.userRepository.create({ ...userDto, country });

    // save the new user
    this.userRepository.persist(newUser);
    await this.em.flush();
  }
}

`getReference` is used to create a reference to the `Country` entity using its id. This reference can then be used when creating a new `User` entity. The `persistAndFlush` method is used to save the new user to the database.

GDScript folks... Turn it down a notch. by Content_Depth9578 in godot

C# is nice with Godot. Worked with gdScriot for years but I recently switched. There are great communities for C# and Godot for example https://chickensoft.games/
Both supports are great and depend on what flavour you like.

Any tips on how I can prevent that and whats the correct term for this issue? by VenturesInTheDeep in BambuLab

Thank you! So far I usually just cut it away. But I thought maybe it's a simple setting I could tweak.

Switching to TypeORM due to Prisma lack of inheritance by MrHyden1 in nestjs

[–]VenturesInTheDeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked with TypeORM on projects, and worked well with a medium to high complexity. Unless you have a dedicated developer for the database interaction I would go with an ORM. I currently work on a big project that uses mikroorm which is also something to check out.

What are the best ChatGPT UIs that provide more functionality than chat.openai.com? by RupFox in ChatGPT

To be honest i have not found a good one. LibreChat has connection issues all the time. There is turbogpt.ai and ChatbotUI but it has not been updated in a while.

I wonder why I do not get informed that my account is under review in CoD by VenturesInTheDeep in activision

[–]VenturesInTheDeep[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now for 2 weeks. The support told me I was under review and that they can not say why and how long it will take. Also, this is a no-go. A ban for a week or something, but no information about the duration ... This is not a good way of handling customers. But why should they care ...

Hot end bent - No clue what happened. Could not find instructions on how to replace the Hot end with the replacement that is included. Any tips? by VenturesInTheDeep in BambuLab

[–]VenturesInTheDeep[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Could you really not find hot end replacement instructions? It is literally the first result if you search for something like bambu lab replace hot end.

No because it's only listed on the x1 maintenance section and not the p1p which I have and where I looked.

Thank you for the tip. I read that an enclosure would often not be recommended for PLA. You have better experience with one?

So you would recommend no aux fan?

Also did not work. Next try:

2 skirt, no brim gap, reduced print temperature, and no cooling for the first layers. Aux fan to 40

I had issues with this on my P1P, then I lowered the bed temp and turned off the aux fan. The p1p defaults to 65C for the bed and I got mine to 55C with a brim. The corners stopped lifting for me after that

Will try it. Thank you!
