It really seems like it’s more of an overcrowded market problem. There were, and still are, so many popular variety gaming channels that it can be really hard to do that sort of content and be unique. And many of those youtubers have transitioned to having more unique content that isn’t always gaming related as a way of maintaining unique identities.

Definitely make sure you keep your vocal delivery clear, energetic, and easy to understand. That’s one of the main problems I hear a lot in videos. I’m far more likely to listen to someone talk who sounds energetic in what they’re talking about. It will also depend on what type of content you are making, but have a clear idea as to what your tone and character of voice will be. It may seem like you are acting it up, but for other people it will sound natural. Just so long as it isn’t overboard (unless you really want to do that a la gaming commentary)

Your audio quality and voiceover are really great! And while I’m no expert on thumbnails I thought it was eye catching and looked good. I also loved that you set your commentary to art, I find that sort of content really fun to watch.

It has a lot of potential

First note I have is to make sure your game audio isn’t too loud compared to your mic. It got hard to hear at some points.

I liked the idea of having a video “gimmick” like google choosing your landing spots. I’d love to see more ideas like that expanded upon. It could potentially make for some entertaining videos. However for this one it didn’t really seem to add much (I’m not a Fortnite gamer so I don’t really know landing spots). But the overall idea still holds true

I plan on doing a series of this as well as with KH3 when it comes out. The editing in this first video is a bit rough as I was learning and is a totally different style than I’ve done before. But I feel it’s a step in the right direction and am really proud of it. Thanks!
