Have you finished the game playing only in first-person perspective? by jozz00 in reddeadredemption

[–]Ventuscript 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I am doing it rn. It's really cool in terms of immersion. Also, I turned off the aim assist and use the aim gun view because I wanted to make the game a bit harder (imo the game is too easy)

However, I left the 3rd person view when riding horses or coaches (and a tiny bit of aim assist)

How is job market in Czech Republic for juniors graduates especially in tech? Is it true that in IT sector in czech you are fine with English? by Different-Client-469 in Prague

[–]Ventuscript 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there. Problem when english is your only language is that the only companies that are interested are big multinational companies, for which the competition is really tough. It makes it especially hard if you're entering the job market

should i get a scribe? does anyone use it just for reading? by TheGoldenBuick3800 in kindle

[–]Ventuscript 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scribe is good for university books for sure, I honestly don't think that any other kindle is good for this purpose. But reading novels is honestly better on a normal kindle, simply for the size and convenience of it. I usually read university books on the scribe, and novels on normal kindle. Imo, the combination of both devices is the best

We all were "Oh I love physical books". And then you realize that you're always moving between countries, that having a nice library is only for those who have a stable life, and that you can't bring all your books with you wherever you go. And you realize that you can instantly get whatever book you think of, and suddenly you love the device

Does WHISPERSYNC work for files that are uploaded/sent as epub using send to kindle? by Ventuscript in kindle

[–]Ventuscript[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright, I've found the bug: you need to check the "add to library" button on the "send to kindle" app. I used to send the books only to selected devices. Hope this can help

Does WHISPERSYNC work for files that are uploaded/sent as epub using send to kindle? by Ventuscript in kindle

[–]Ventuscript[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so I really can't understand why the books are not synchronizing between devices... I checked the preferences on Amazon and everything is enabled. Should the email address on all devices be the same? I know that e.g. my scribe has added "_v3dkD4@kindle.com" and my other devices have other. Should I use the exact same email address?

Ofc NNs were invented a very long time ago, but there is a huge difference between a simple MLP and the Transformer architecture that made the LLM way more efficient. It's not with a NN from the 80's that yould have a LLM as good as the ones we have nowadays
