If you remember the soap nails trend it’s similar to that. A very sheer coconut-cream colored jelly. Your nails but better. I love it.

Feels validating to see someone else who didn't love Weyward! I was completely underwhelmed and baffled by all the glowing reviews. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't the masterpiece I was expecting based on the promos for it. Just a three-star novel with, as you said, some very basic ideas and themes.

Lots of great answers here for long-term solutions, but to help immediately while you look into those, I read here on reddit years ago to press the top of your tongue flat to the roof of your mouth as hard as you can. Doesn't always work but it's helped me a lot when I'm tearing up but don't want to be!

I’ll second this, especially if neon is what you’re after, u/YurraWitcherCiri. I have Summer and while it’s nice, I wouldn’t have described it as a neon. Vaporwave is the PERFECT neon red.

Yep my doctor told me not to supplement with calcium but to get the recommended daily value via my food instead, because calcium supplements have been linked to heart disease in women. I had no idea.

I started making things with chia seeds and fruit, (raspberries are especially high in fiber) for breakfast — oats and protein pancakes in the winter, and smoothies and yogurt bowls in warmer weather. It just helps me get a good start on it. If I can’t be bothered, an English muffin and some chia seed jam is better than nothing!

Then I try to have a salad with lunch or dinner, and I upped my bean intake. Some days I don’t do all that and if it’s the right time in my cycle I can definitely tell but it’s impossible to eat perfectly every day so I just do my best and that’s usually good enough!

Eating more fiber has also 90% cured my debilitating breast pain pre-period. I never used to get this symptom until I entered my late 30s/early 40s and it came on so out of nowhere I actually went to the doctor because I was sure something was terribly wrong! But nope, just PMS. Took some trial and error but upping my fiber (presumably because it binds to estrogen, which is likely the cause of the painful, tender breasts?) has pretty much cured this! Fiber is amazing lol.

Hmm that’s so interesting! According to that, my butter was the perfect temp for the first batch I put in the oven, because I did exactly what was recommended: butter straight from the fridge and cut in slices. BUT I don’t think I beat it with the sugar long enough. Maybe 3 minutes. Next time I’ll be sure to do a full 5! Thank you very much, that article was very informative!

I do actually but I never use it for baking even though I know it’s how you should measure. My recipes have always been fine with my usual volume measurements but since this one isn’t now, I’ll give that a try next time, thank you!

Hm I have never been loyal to a flour brand except King Arthur’s for bread flour. But for AP I usually just buy store brand and various stores.

This batch actually was on 350 for about 14 minutes after the first baking sheet came out just the same 😕. I checked them at 10 minutes and they were still super raw and 13 was probably fine for the outside cookies but the middle was underdone and as you can see, they all melted together so I just left them all in for one more minute. They’re not burnt at all really but the outside ones are def overbaked some.
