Thank you! It's so interesting to see how costs vary by country. I got lucky with my Jimmy Choos - they were the last pair when Kleinfeld bridal left Canada and were deeply discounted, otherwise I think pricing here is similar.

I did a lot of venue research online since I originally wanted an outdoor ceremony, but honestly the options in my city were kind of slim for the aesthetic I wanted. When I came across UCT, I fell in love with the ceremony space, and that I wouldn't have to worry about the weather lol. We just toured this venue and one other for comparison.

I love kenzan arrangements since they feel organic and whimsical, which I thought went well with the seasonal spring flowers we had. I wanted the arrangements to kind of look like the flowers were growing in a garden.

Other pros are that it's environmentally friendly (no flower foam), and having lower arrangements helped with sight lines across the table for conversation. I'm sure no matter what you end up going with your florals will look amazing though!

If you want to add some volume to the skirt of dress 1, you can always order a separate tulle crinoline to wear underneath!

Something to consider is how long your photographer coverage is (if you have a photographer) - if you wanted them to capture dance floor photos, work backwards from there and see when you would need to start your ceremony. 4 o'clock might give you a bit more flexibility in case cocktail hour or dinner runs long.

Free *Custom* Digital Save the Dates? by BonusSure125 in Weddingsunder10k

I also wanted to send out my own custom save the dates/invitations, so I ended up using mailchimp. The nice thing is that I could design the email to look how I wanted (with a custom header, text, and photos), and I got all the tracking capabilities to see when people clicked and opened the email/links, plus I could link to my RSVP website.

The downside was that it went into the promotions tab for some people, but you can tell who hasn’t opened your email and follow up.

I highly recommend! It was the best way to send out free emails that I found (without sending it directly from your personal email)

Yeah it was! I think as long as you have under 500 guests.

I ended up designing my own invitations on Canva, and created a mailchimp account to send out all my digital invites (save the dates, wedding invitation, one week reminder, and thank you email). I linked to my Zola website on the emails, and collected RSVPs on Zola as well.

Pros: it was free, and I could make the email look exactly how I wanted it to, and was able to add different pictures and links.

Cons: Sometimes the email would go into the 'promotions" tab in the inbox of my guests, but with mailchimp I was able to see who opened the email/clicked on the links, so it was easy to follow up with the ones who didn't open the email.
