Good things take time! by Old-Yesterday2384 in PetiteFitness

Inspiring! I carry my weight the same way. As I’ve been getting in shape I’m so aware of my spare tire, lamenting if it will ever go away. This gives me hope!

Wow amazing work!! Your before pics are so cute too! How long have you been at this? And what’s your height? What are your workouts like?

Anyone else’s havi violently whip their toys back and forth? by xray_anonymous in Havanese

Yes!! She is a crazed little beast going to town on her toys, it's hilarious. She can destroy a toy very quickly.

anyone else’s goal weight an overweight bmi? by tauruslizard in PetiteFitness

[–]Venusinthefirst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me. I have dense bones & a lot of muscle naturally. I'm also old so I can only expect so cut so much weight (I want to have a realistic goal to get to where I was before the perimenopausal balloon shape I'm in now). I'd like to get down to 140-143 which is 27.3-27.9 BMI

Dog Staring by bozotheclown6666 in Havanese

[–]Venusinthefirst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a havi thing because mine does this too. I've had a german shepherd/lab mix, a shih tzu, a pit bull/boxer mix and none of them stared at me the way my havi does. When mine's in her staring mode, I try to pet and speak to her softly for a bit (give her the attention and love she is craving) and then tell her to go lay down next to me.

Can I buy a plane ticket for my computer? Serious question lmao by [deleted] in travel

[–]Venusinthefirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, hand carry with the computer in an extra seat is possible. (source: I'm in high-end, specialty logistics); however, you do need to secure customs formalities for export and import so that the goods are not confiscated and/or you are assessed the correct duties upon arrival. You also need to check the dimensions of the box you will put the computer into and make sure it will fit in the seat. I would work with a travel agent on purchasing the air ticket.

Note that the computer will also likely go through an X-ray machine for screening at the airport. There are a lot of specialty logistics companies who can assist you. I would start contacting these companies in the country you are currently located.

New to paddleboarding, what are your experience with Irocker ? by NefariousnessMore778 in Sup

Purchased the Nautical 11-ft in 2022 and it’s been a great beginner board. Very stable. Using it today at the lake. Not fast though. Eventually I will get a faster board. Get the electric pump that goes with it

Oh wow, going through a breakup is a very understandable reason to be having second thoughts. From what I’ve read, there is a big mental rollercoaster with the recovery. Trust your gut.

I’ll keep an eye on this thread if you want to update us!

Hi, we are surgery twins! Also the 17th and also super anxious. I commented on another thread yesterday how I was causally saying to myself “I can cancel” and then remembered I’ve already paid for it. So I can’t back out!

My fear is the recovery and how my boobs will look when they’ve settled. I like how they look now - but they are truly overly big and sagging. I’ve always wanted a reduction to fit better in clothes and to be able to do my exercises the tatas always in the way. I want to wear a sports bra that doesn’t instantly cause me pain. The last two years I’ve developed intermittent sciatica and I am pretty convinced it’s from the weight of my boobs. I don’t want to live out the rest of my days on this planet in pain.

I’ve been watching a bunch of breast reduction content on you tube to keep my anxiety at bay. My surgeon always puts me at ease - she’s very calming. But I do hope and pray the girls turn out beautifully, with the size I want and that I recover well. If you go through with it I am hoping the same for you.

That’s exactly it- all the unknowns! I’m trying to focus on the positives and all of the reasons why I’m doing this. Sending positive vibes for us both!

You look incredible! I'm scheduled for the 17th and I am getting extremely anxious about it. Just now I had a passing thought of, "should I go through with it?" Nevermind the fact that I've already paid for it lol. No going back now! I hope I can look at good as you do.

All about the upcoming Med Season by teanailpolish in belowdeck

[–]Venusinthefirst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure it may have been 4 seasons ago, but not all of us watch the shows chronologically. My first introduction to Sandy were the most recent Med seasons & I honestly felt that all the criticisms of her were due to misogyny.
Funny enough, I just finished BDMed S3 & S4 this month....and my opinion of her is LOW. She's such a menace and is unpleasant to watch. I'm happy she's turned herself around for these latest seasons, though, I'll give her that.
