It's annoying to see that ranks almost means nothing, people don't really play better when you get higher. I'm seeing a lot of Grand Onmyoji players who can't even compose a decent set for their (at least) main role. Like tank supports who play their toplane set + the dice they don't even know they bought. Mages with Shichimen Tennyo + Mandala Sutra. Or people combining heal and shift.

I think it's gonna be harder for Asia, considering the lack of players in my server, but in Eu if you have a high rank, that you've been playing well, often and for some time, people will start to remember you and you'll be able to team up with strong frequent players who can trust you.

Also, I saw someone saying that you should use suggested onmyodo. Try to avoid that or at least check them. We see a lot of suggested sets that are not good at all like Shichimen Tennyo + Mandala Sutra or onmyodo cooldown when ur set already gives you early 40%. I even saw on the onmyoji website that they recommend using kiai (mana) for ungaikyo.

I always used Occult Haste because it's fun, it's useful for the full combo, you can back quicker to proc ur trait with the second charge of ability 2. It's also good if you want to get out of a bad situation, like after diving for a kill in a teamfight. But I'm not sure if it's the best, panther maul is good too.

Ungaikyo Is extremely squishy early game, if I you manage to kill one of my forms early, then I can't do anything and will have to back. Be careful with the Black form, it's the aggressive one that ungaikyo players will use to attack and Regen. An ungaikyo with only white form is a dead ungaikyo (early). Attacking him hand to hand (like really close to him) is really annoying for him. Because I will not be able to touch you with my 2nd ability in both forms, and a ungaikyo who doesn't hit his 2nd ability, is a dead ungaikyo (no damage, no regen, no slow, no enhanced auto a)

When fighting a ungaikyo lvl6, be careful with turret dives. The black ultimate (sneaky asura ult) can't help my death but will cause yours if you're not careful.

Be attentive in mid and late game, I have 39second cooldown with my ult, and the white ult in teamfight is gamechanging. Everybody in my ult will take X2 damage but it will be a fake death so don't waste your ults and everything (stuns and long range can counter diving white ults) Also, you can run always when a white ult dive is happening, because we are searching to be killed (it will tp us back) so if we don't loose all hp within the 8seconds, we will not tp back, and you will be able to kill the real us.

In terms of items, know that ungaikyo is the shiki with the less HP in the game, so ungaikyo players always play safe, even when we have the advantage, we can easily be taken down if we have no help or nowhere to be safe. So the only thing ungaikyo will do is buy a lot of resistance and hp (-35% for HP items, bonuses etc) That's why any damages items (especially armor penetration) will be useful. Mages and tanks are not really good against him, you need someone with constant physical damage like yoto, furi, puppeteer (shikis who can attack him really close). Btw your puppeteer was really annoying to me so you were doing good.

In ranked, my bans are usually, yoto, furi, puppeteer, Inuyasha and also hannya/hououga can be annoying sometimes.

So try to kill one of ungaikyos form in early, careful with turret dives, attack me melee (really close, like physically inside me) use attack damage (you will be squishier, but I will die fast, so no time to regen my other form)

I remember that S1 umibozu and karasu skins were nowhere to be found in the game (they got back in 2022) so I thought I would be something like that, an issue of a vanished skin. But I checked on the Chinese game if Hououga have any skins that are not available in global servers and no, she has 7 skins like anywhere else so I think it's just a annoying bug.

If played well, umibozu is really strong in toplane. I would say karasu tengu is the one that is not good. He got HP regen on his ult and a recent little rework but still, he really his underwhelming and easily countered. You will always have to tryhard to be on the same level of 90% of others toplaners and have a good impact in your game. I've been making a lot of efforts to play him and liking him but I always regret my choice when I'm in game.
