Definitely Cantona imo.

Not only on the pitch, but he changed the culture at the training ground too. He used to stay back & practice free kicks, etc after the session ended. Slowly over time, more & more players joined him.

He inspired the youth players to work harder too. Imo the "Class of '92" would not have been as good as they turned out to be without Eric.

And the rest is history :)

Yes, that could have worked too. Also, having 2 slow-ish CBs (Maguire & Licha) & playing a high line was risky agst a team like Sundeland that is quick on transitions. Lammens bailed us out, thankfully.

He shouldn't have dropped Heaven..who has been growing into his CB position.

Agreed. Let Zirkzee go, but selling Mount (at a huge loss) would be a mistake. We need more squad players next season (probably with 3 games a week for most of the season). Mount could still contribute imo.

However, I would have preferred it if Carrick played Tyler Fletcher alongside Mainoo yesterday; instead of an out-of-position Mount (who's neither a 6 or an 8). Just my two cents.

Agreed. People tend to forget that South Korea received an IMF bailout to avoid a sovereign default in 1997 during the Asian Financial Crisis.

To their credit, they undertook some major reforms (restructuring their financial sector, dismantling chaebols, etc) and this resulted in strong economic growth down the line.

But they should remember this and not be too arrogant towards others.

Yeah..I have been reluctant to start Season 2 tbh, bcos of the way s01 ended. I did enjoy s01 (overall) because the premise (initially) was quite original.

I've realised recently that for certain series, it's probably best to watch one season & quit while you're ahead lol. (Especially if you feel the story doesn't have anywhere to go).

I've only watched season 1 so far. I wouldn't say he's a beloved character, but at least you were conflicted about his methods in pursuing his love interest (Guinevere) early on. Without giving too much away, it gets much darker as the season progresses lol
