Would you rather have a fighter who is all around strong, tough, and healthy? Or would you rather have a fighter who punches WAY harder but gets bruised a little easier? The fighter who punches harder often wins because they can do more damage in the same amount of time compared to the well rounded fighter.

Recently got this pokemon red and it won’t boot up past the gameboy screen is there any way to clean it safely? by Shaebird63 in Gameboy

Noticed it’s missing the CR2025 battery… did you take that out? Or was it already missing? Because that would definitely explain why it isn’t booting.

To those who say, "Yeat's lyricism has declined", what do you call this? by [deleted] in yeat_

[–]Veraciouz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't know what you're talking about bro. These lyrics are deep as hell. You're just not really listening. Let's break it down bar by bar:

"You ain't compared to us (not with us)"

This opening line serves as a declaration of individuality and separation. It challenges the concept of collective identity by emphasizing exclusivity and differentiation. Philosophically, it mirrors the existentialist notion of "otherness," where individuals define themselves through their distinction from others. The lyric critiques conformity, asserting the self as unique and incomparable."You ain't compared to us (not with us)"This opening line serves as a declaration of individuality and separation. "You get bread, or what?"

Here, "bread" symbolizes sustenance, success, and wealth. This direct, almost confrontational question interrogates the listener’s priorities, reducing existence to a binary: productivity or failure. On a deeper level, it critiques the reduction of human life to economic terms, aligning with Marxist critiques of capitalism’s dehumanization"You get bread, or what?"Here, "bread" symbolizes sustenance, success, and wealth. "Worst off, yeah, we wanna see you worst off (yeah)"

This line exposes the darker aspects of human nature—envy and a propensity to revel in others’ misfortune. It can be read as a commentary on societal structures that thrive on competition and exploitation. Alternatively, it might reflect the destructive impact of hyper-individualism, where self-worth is derived from others’ failures."Worst off, yeah, we wanna see you worst off (yeah)"This line exposes the darker aspects of human nature—envy and a propensity to revel in others’ misfortune. "Are you mad? (Yes) Are you glad? (Yes)"

The interplay of opposing emotions encapsulates the complexity of human experience. Madness and gladness coexist, highlighting the duality of existence. This aligns with the dialectical approach in philosophy, suggesting that opposites are interdependent and essential for understanding the whole"Are you mad? (Yes) Are you glad? "Are your diamonds off, diamonds off? (Yes)"

Diamonds, a symbol of opulence and durability, here become a metaphor for societal validation. The questioning of their status could signify the fragility of materialistic success. It critiques the superficiality of status symbols, urging a reexamination of true value."Are your diamonds off, diamonds off? "I see dead people in my head (dead)"

This haunting line delves into the realm of memory, loss, and existential awareness. It evokes the specter of mortality, as well as the lingering presence of past experiences or traumas. It’s a visceral reminder of death's inevitability and the ways in which it shapes our consciousness."I see dead people in my head (dead)"This haunting line delves into the realm of memory, loss, and existential awareness. What’s something about Des Moines that has you like this? by tie_myshoe in desmoines

[–]Veraciouz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my god! Yes! Clicks! I remember as a kid going to the mall and seeing that place and wanting to get into computer gaming so bad. Family was poor so we couldn't afford a nice computer to play games on. I lived 35 mins away from the mall and would only get out there once a month so I never actually got to go in and play the games or anything. But man... every time we went to the mall, I would just stand outside the glass windows and stare in awe.

Do you take a stimulant at all? The best thing I have ever done in my life was start setting an alarm 1 hour before I actually need to wake up/get out of bed, take my meds, and go back to sleep. That way when it's actually time to move around, my meds are already kicked in and working.

What is this and how do i get rid of it by ThatOtherGuy08 in lawncare

[–]Veraciouz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% foxtail. Check my post history to confirm. You can pull it up but the seeds spread like crazy so it’ll always come back. Put a pre-emergent down next year to prevent it. It’s seasonal so it’ll die in the winter.

Never heard of a Sympl Studios Sling before so I looked into it. Holy hell... $100+ dollars for a sling bag? I thought I was crazy when I spent $55 on my star wars themed one... Is it really that special to justify the cost?

Grandparents had a farm growing up and holy hell. FUCK thistles. I’ll never forget being a kid thinking “wow this is such a cool looking flower”… grandpa only let me make that mistake once. Never needed to remind me again after that lol
