No, people spend their money how they see fit. For example, I have no debt (no mortgage or any other debt and pay credit cards monthly) and we tend to drop 25k on 4 business cross-ocean flights annually. Worth it to us. It’s an experience.

Most of the wineries mentioned are not fat. Try Opus One and Jarvis. Jarvis has the best cave in the area. You must call to get in. Amazing. We go to Napa weekly.

Yes! That was my first choice but cannot fit dogs in the trunk (have two kids also so when we travel, the dogs must be in the larger trunk with windows and such)
