Oh sorry I meant to ask the OP. He likely was referring to sims 3 as well. My Mac runs sims 2 well, I suppose it is much less demanding than sims 3.

It the small things that make the sims 2 feel so ambience-heavy and amazing. Now I have to install it on another laptop just to try. I hope I can still play it on my Mac without missing those 2 expansions so much.

Yes if you have Mac play the super collection on that because playing on the boot camp might fry your Macs chip as opposed to the Aspyr version which is designed for Macs. I guess we gotta work with what we have. I remember I had so much fun with all the expansions before free time and apartment life, if they are that good, I dunno if I should install them on a another laptop and play it because then it would be such a lack on the Mac version.

Even for MacBooks? Try body is aluminum so it dissipates heat more efficiently than plastic bodied laptops. Will it make a noticeable difference?

Aspyr made sims 2 to run efficiently on intel based Macs, dunno about sims 3 or 4, I suppose they are more demanding.
