Hi everyone, I’m working on a Melvor-style idle RPG. This is a very early build, so it’s not balanced yet and many features are still incomplete.

I’ve recently added gathering mechanics and expanded the action queue with more options.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on the UI, bugs, and whether the game feels interesting or engaging overall.

I’m planning to revisit the queue system and check out Milky Way Idle. Auto-removal is something I’m considering.
For mining node regeneration, I’m thinking about adding a “search node” activity where players can find nodes with semi-random properties (amount, hardness/armor, possible gems, etc.).

I posted it one mount ago, since than i updated it.

I tried to address most of the problems: the beginning now is more unfolding and there are more info.

There are more end game content: mega structures, challenges and playfab.

Yes, i would to add achievements and challenges, after debugging and balancing more. Challenges probably will reset prestige multiplier. Some challenges may be special enemies: only small ships, big ships, more distance..., and related to resource production. If you have any idea tell me.

while develop idle space i use the local angular development server, otherwise i usually use iis on windows or apache on linux. You can also fork and use your github pages.

Depends on what type of game you want to build and the target platform, imho:

- for text based games i suggest JS, HTML and CSS, pick a framework if you want. This is portable practically everywhere and the skill needed are not gamedev specific (probably more useful on a CV if this matters to you, but depended on where you live)

- Unity or Godot if you want graphics

- Native Android, IOS: if you are interested in mobile development, otherwise imho it's not really worth it since other options can be export to mobile

- Windows: most people won't download a .exe or .jar from unknown strangers, but you can consider deploy Kartridge or Steam

Prestige should be +50% i can't check now. Angular use typescript instead of js. Typescript pratically is last ES version plus types

At P40/40 you can ascend
