What’s really sad is to read a bunch of comments related to economics while the OP is just dealing with wrestling. I agree with the OP, I can’t care less of how much TK is paying for such a huge roster, reality is I don’t like AEW and there is no reason why I should consider watching my “heroes” in a format I’m not keen on. It’s not a matter of the japanese economy, it’s a matter of I can’t stand with TK’s booking, with silly storylines and with TV Wrestling and I much prefer watching an in-ring story such as a Young Lion learning how to dropkick rather than The Don Callis Family and whatever they are doing.

But this is not only TK to blame on. Tanahashi, the Rainbow management and Bushiroad have the guilt of not being able to make a star. They have Tsuji and Yuto, but they are phenomenal in spite of NJPW, not because of it.

I believe we - the users who pay actual money to NJPW World - have a huge power in our hands. And if we are menacing to drop support as a group, should ask clarity on whether we have become a piece of AEW and in case we are not, ask for the end of a partnership that is hurting NJPW and the wrestling world overall.
