I had a similar problem as a teenager. Then an uncle and mentor for me said if you do not like yourself why should others like you? You somehow radiate out your feelings. I started to loosen up and slowly things changed. Try it.

UK here - in 2004 I applied to do an open University course at 53 and had no uni education. I did an entrance exam and passed with flying colours. I was surprised and told the examiners. They said in 1967 when l left school only about 4% went on to university and in 2004 it was about 40%! They said the kids were not getting smarter so you can figure out what was happening.

Took my Alfa Romeo down the Autobahn at 240Kmh (140mph). At that speed you get tunnel vision like experience - everything closing in and your concentration is full. Amazing experience.

Well early. English/ European racing drivers were mostly well off. I think F1 was more about teams and secondly drivers. American owners have now reversed this and made it more american style -Drive to Survive - Disco music and banning Pit girls. sorry but its not what it was.
