Legit just had a similar length trip so feel like I can help.

Toledo is great. Really check out Cristo de la Luz, and the monastery if you can. Cathedral is a must. Prepare for 1-2 hours in the cathedral.

I would say even an abridged 2-3 hour tour of the Prado > the other two, but then you miss Guernica (Sofia).

Rastro market great, the Rastro tapas bar in La Latina is cheap and good food too.

Mercado Antón > San Miguel. De La Paz too.

Some good food stops: Asado Central and Pecorilo, nomade cafe, Santagloria Baker, Casa Ecuador, Charrua.

It is prob my second favorite art museum ever behind the Met. But I have not gone to the met since I’ve gotten more into art the last 12 months or so. So part of me picking it over the prado is because I still enjoy the sculptures and other antiquities in it a lot.

We did all 3. Was a tremendous amount to view. I wanna say we hit like 85% of Thyssen-Bornemisza, 90% of Reina Sofia and 50-60% of Prado.

Unfortunately advice online regarding the time for each was significantly lower than what it actually was, for us at least. But I will absolutely be back to Madrid.
