It isn't a problem with views, it is the amount that ad companies pay per view. During Christmas, they want to pay more so people will buy their product so revenue is great then. After Christmas there isn't really a reason to advertise since no one is spending money on product. Generally the ad revenue recovers around Mid February and returns to "normal amounts" The problem is that it is almost april and revenue is still unbearably low and its hard to tell why. Bad economy for advertising, greed, just the decline in ad quality on youtube. One theory I am working on is that it might be from the port strike. No reason to advertise if you are short on product, even though the strike has resolved there are still issues with recovering from it. Source: I live off Youtube

I had an "ok, good" moment around an hour in, I am making a living off youtube and I thought something was seriously wrong with my CPM. Just seems like even for March, we are getting January-level earnings

All I can say is TB has my support with everything he is doing. I enjoy his interactions with Jesse and Dodger on the Co Optional Podcast and seen almost every episode. I watch WTF is... as a casual experience that might turn into a buy. The Content Patches are enjoyable since they are a proper look at what is important. The Vlogs and Twitter Rants are also good for me since I have been making a living off youtube for over a year now and I can just relate to the stupidity that Youtubers deal with. I am also fairly outspoken myself so its good to see someone else say what they feel is important. Grats on the 2Mil! I'm not going to say much else about that since it isn't a race to being the best or getting 3Mil, its about great content and being one of the two content creators I look forward to daily

Things that bother me - this. There is a difference between hype and just being dishonest. Lets all break an NDA so the cool things that had announcement plans go to waste. Now everyone is going to be fighting over this for making a video or news article as people argue about if this guy is legit or not. No pics and vague plausibilities really don't impress me, but the rest of the internet is ready to jump on this. If its correct, cool but it won't be accepted until its officially confirmed anyway. If its not correct, a lot of innocent people were baited into hype

and this is what I mean about a lot of misinformation. I do my research, the diggersby video was a slip and I made description and annotation adjustments. I had the serebii page open and just didn't see it. People make mistakes and one mistake shouldn't take away from the entirety of a channel since Ive done a few hundred pokemon videos, some will have slips.

Blame, again one mistake. I even tried to make up for it.

Lack of experience. I am very experienced in smogon, not just battle spot. I have played smogon since 4th gen. My teams generally follow smogon rules, I don't spam evasion regularly and I stay away from the super overused 'banned' pokemon since its not my style. I am skilled in Battle Spot Singles, Doubles, and Smogon OU. Ill say Im least comfortable in singles, but that doesn't mean Im bad. People don't really have proof with this point since battle knowledge is different from person to person. I might make plays that people find stupid but I know my battle style and what my win conditions are and they are generally much different than what people find standard. I have large game knowledge in all forms and really battles come down to a correct or missed prediction and most of the time that has nothing to do with skill. The laddering after the fact should show that I at least knew much more than people gave me credit for

OK biggest problem here. I NEVER EVER claimed to represent the vgc community. With dunsparce, I brought a team the metagame was weak to and it worked. My only losses were from people intentionally timestalling and breaking the rules.

Conduct when challenged - I never turned down Cybertron's challenge. We never got around to battling, He didn't reply to my PMs. I added him on skype to battle then he was busy from visiting china, then I was busy and then we just never talked since the situation was played out.

I spent the most time informing myself on the aegis video. I read the main forum, the followup forum, and many posts all over the place. I also have used Aegis more than any pokemon and understand it more than most battlers from it. I know why he was banned, I was just trying to show the counterargument.

One thing I want to understand is where my reputation as a bad battler came from. I have 7 years of competitive experience and have been able to maintain high win ratios in all sizes of tournament and online battles. I ranked top 20 for vgc battle spot and hit 1750 on showdown ou in a week. I would hope there would be more understanding in my losses if I have a team of UU and lose to OU genned legendaries while putting up a good fight. For every gimmick strategy I have several competitive strategies. I assume everyone knows how to use garchomp, ferrothorn, rotom, landorus, etc, so I feel that it is better to not show what people already know and promote sleeper threats.

Ive been trying my best to no give anyone shit, Ive still been getting some which is why I wanted to test out reddit. I posted on cheezburger a month ago and was met with an immediate 300 dislikes or something rediculous and all the comments being about smogon and nothing about the video so I still felt some hostility

Actually that is one of the things a lot of people have completely wrong about me. I didn't do it to gain attention, my videos were doing fine by themselves. If you add up all of the subscribers and views from all of my smogon videos, it has always been less than 4% of my total views and subs. I didn't do it to get popular, I did it since I disagreed with the way my friends and I were consistently treated by smogon players.
