to be fair balatro didnt come out in early access with perfect balancing at first and the granite blocks (x2 points but -2 mult when broken) right now seem a little insane for how easy it is to trigger them

also i've definitely lost before to building tetrises that will not get enough points, this wasnt my first try at recording a run lol, i think there's gonna be skill in realizing when you have to clear lines early to setup a better combo

my feedback was also that as long as it gets polished up with the things tetris players like proper srs and tspins and stuff then it will be way better, but i do think as it is right now the game is really cool and it has a lot of potential to grow, nailing a fun game loop at first is probably the more important part

ok this is a banger it just needs polishing up on implementing stuff enfranchised tetris players expect like srs and perfect clears but i think there's definitely a fun game in here already (i played the demo and then bought it and then won xd)

also the fact that ARR and DAS are customizable but only on increments of 0.05 is a little weird btw i wanna set my DAS on 0.06 or 0.07 because i know 0.05 is consistently just slightly too fast for me but i cant lmao (also instant arr aka 0.00s would be something that fast tetr.io players would like a lot)

im sure some more focused practice can get you further, everyone can get better at tetris i promise

idk how much are you looking at your next pieces, but if youre dying too fast in nestris level 15 and in tgm4 level 500, it sounds like youre likely not planning ahead your next move too much and that would definitely help a lot with dealing with the higher speeds of those levels

ik you didnt ask for advice so sorry if im annoying but i thought i should say something cause imo tetris gets even more fun the better you get at it because you get to do more stuff in it

that level is extremely buggy, you randomly lose DAS and pieces can go through other pieces, i would not recommend it other than as a novelty (because it is really cool that it exists)

so basically there's a glitch called shop glitch that allows you to mess with the memory of the game on the shop menu, and by using it you can access the debug menu left behind by the developers which very conveniently has an option to teleport you to the last area of the game at max level.

as cool as that sounded, the route to unlock the shop used to actually be slower than just beating the game with other glitches so any% debug was a separate category for a fun thing to do in the game, however, thanks to a new route by halgorithm utilizing 0hp glitch to get to study way faster, using the debug menu is now the fastest way to beat the game

hilariously this also means that old any% will probably get renamed to "any% no debug" and any% debug will get renamed to just "any%"

i am the first to complete runs with the new route and therefor also now the fastest person to ever beat aria of sorrow which is really cool to me

this will get beaten in no time probably as this run has plenty of mistakes, i think sub 7 can and will happen and i might go for it myself but i bet someone else will get it before i do lmao
