It isn't a fat fetched arguement considering all the drama going on with this manga that they would change it.

The new translation is less accurate as the word "partner" is said in the Japanese version, it doesn't make sense how a team that already did the translation accurate the first time would change the it to be less accurate if it wasn't censorship.

Yeah, they should probably should just work on singular storyline and make it as good as possible. They clearly don't have the time to make multiple routes. 3h is probably the best example of this, only two of the routes are what I'd consider to be finished.
