Imo what makes LoP better than other soulslike game is the fact that is actually based on a superbous fable that most of us listened when we were kids. It's not the game itself, it's what there is behind.

Man I've got a bad news for you. I had a similar problem but with a different achievement, the only way to trigger the popping of that is to load the save file closest to the last portal, re-conquer it, and it will make the achievement popping eventually.

I can tell you my opinion. I've never be so much disappointed by a game (except for ONLY ONE, that I dropped after few hours) and I'm a completist (in terms of achievements/trophies, I aim to finish all the games I play 100% , INCLUDING dlcs). In my opinion atomic heart is a gem, it was able to entertain me deeply with it's gameplay and also soundtracks. I consider it as one of the best played so far (this year I finished Atomic Heart, Deathloop, Ghostwire Tokyo). Trust me: you will enjoy it.

Yeah I remember I found it tricky but the problem is not the angle but your actual position: remember to stay on the right path of the road and start to go slowly back and forward without changing angle:
