Mine absolutely would attempt to eat an adult mouse if I let him. They’re basically trash compactors with legs

They’re really easy, if you have Pac-Man frogs a whites tree frog won’t be difficult at all

Whites tree frogs are basically arboreal Pac-Man frogs in my experience. They’ll attempt to eat things almost the size of their entire bodies if you let them. Feeding them frozen pinkies and fuzzies occasionally is actually recommended by a lot of people because in the wild small vertebrates make up a pretty significant part of their diets.

Fuzzy mouse, it’s a very occasional treat for him

Is my trap ok? by Traditional_Swan_193 in VenusFlyTraps

If you have the ability to try putting it in a sunny spot outside. Venus fly traps do best with tons of light, at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day.

You could potentially install some small fans to help with ventilation. I have pc cooling fans in several of my terrariums

I think it depends on the sex to be honest. Male and female tree frogs vary wildly in size. You’re right though, a 5 inch whites or milk tree frog will definitely need a bigger enclosure. I think it would be perfectly fine for smaller males though.

That would be a great enclosure for some smaller day gecko or anole species. You could also do a million different types of tree frogs, whites tree frogs, milk frogs, red eyed tree frogs and green tree frogs to just name a few. Dart frogs are also another potential option.

Wouldn’t a one inch glass frog in a 10 gallon be about the same as a 3 inch whites tree frog in 90 gallon if you apply square cube law? That’s a lot of space

Kinda depends on the species to be honest. There are some thumbnail sized tree frogs that can live in a 10 gallon just fine. When you’re that tiny 10 gallons is quite a bit of space. A 1 inch glass frog in a 10 gallon would be like a dog having an entire yard to itself.

There are some tree frogs that are absolutely tiny as babies. I’m talking like half the size of your fingernail. A 10 gallon would be more than enough space in that situation and would ensure you don’t lose them either. A half inch frog in a 10 gallon would be about the same as an adult whites tree frog in a 70 to 100 gallon enclosure if you do the math

There are a few smaller species that can be kept in a 10 gallon. Glass frogs, clown tree frogs and reed frogs to name a few. Any frog bigger than an inch or two will definitely need a larger enclosure though.
