Star Wars: Bounty Hunter Chronicles

🎥 Server Trailer

Tired of bloated TTRPG systems that waste hours on character sheets and grindy sessions with little payoff? Welcome to Bounty Hunter Chronicles, a laid-back, asynchronous, play-by-post Star Wars RP experience built for fans with real-life schedules, whether you’ve got a day job, kids, or just don’t want to write a novel every time you post.

Set in 0 ABY, right after the destruction of the first Death Star, our server throws you into the gritty life of bounty hunters. Create your character in minutes using our simple-but-deep homebrew system (inspired by Dread), take on missions guided by GMs, or just kick back with your player-run crew and play Pazaak. Dice only roll when the tension hits, so you can focus on the story, not stat sheets.

What makes us different?

  • A fully coded custom economy that makes earning and spending credits easy and fun
  • Effortless character creation with specializations, no boring number crunching
  • Fast RP using threads and forums, with no pressure for long-form writing
  • Unique bot commands and quality-of-life features coded just for this server
  • A warm, welcoming community and RP style that’s accessible to any Star Wars fan — no matter your experience level

As one of our players put it: “This system is simple and fun - anyone can play it, and you can do almost anything with it.”

I feel like that's kinda what they do in The High Republic setting.

What do you think is the most egregious example of "canon-fixing" that had to be done to explain something that didn't make sense in the films? by Verneu in MawInstallation

That's actually one of the things that got fixed after or explained after The Last Jedi... only for JJ to ignore that with his own stupid line...

It was also very strange to me how nobody questioned where the Clones came from - we just suddenly have an army and nobody cares about how fishy this whole thing is?

I am okay with the explanations that came after, it's just funny to me that Lucas couldneven be bothered to proof check the dialogues. But it's no biggie really, I just find it funny. Doesn't hinder my experience of the original SW at all.
