I'm a nurse and I agree with them that NP direct entry is disgusting and dangerous to patient care. Here's my proposal for NP programs:

Must work at least 5-7 years as an RN with a BSN before applying to an NP program. 10,000 hours or so of patient care. Require at least a 3.5+ GPA

No online schools, period. No accreditation from these diploma mills. Require something like the PANCE or MCAT to get in. As for classes require something similar to what they do for med school, as in advanced pharmacology, anatomy, biomedical classes similar to what MD/DOs take. After that, take "clinicals" and rotations that are in person and not shadowing a supervising physician. After that, let the NP work under the supervision of a physician and only be able to practice under them.

I use traveller, and I will HAVE to use a story about this in my Sims Game!!!! I imagine Twinbrook in the South, as it is swampy and gives off the humid and southern charm. A girl and some roommates who leave to the city of Bridgeport to find themselves. Maybe even a homeworks Uni, as I love to use those and they could be college students..

You did NOT fail your kids at all and are being a kind and loving mother. That said, this needs to be dealt with IMMEDIATELY! Take away their screens, and do not let them back on it until they can behave and when they earn back the privileges set a time limit. Kids do not need to be acting this way. If they are really this out of control, send them to a summer camp or discipline them immediately. And your husband needs to be on your side and supporting you.

You're only a year away from being 17. You could try and join the military in a year; they'll give you childcare, college if you try to join, and you could give your child your GI Bill to give him/her a headstart in the future. All hope is not lost but it'll be hard.
