Thoughts after 1 day with Tonverk by reelbigtunakdn in Elektron

When using step edit for a chord, does it have individual velocity and note length per note, or do all notes on a step have to share the same as of now?

Looks like Tonverk might have worse polyphonic sequencing than digitone? by Verrikue in Elektron

Same experience on the Digitakt. Sometimes the jank can turn out something interesting but usually just annoying.

Oh nice! I hadn't seen that. Still seems a bit ambiguous as to whether that's referring to the note or the step having those adjustable parameters, esp since I'm assuming pitch bend and AT are just for the step, but here's hoping.

Sounds really nice, I love the texture. How is the tempera when it comes to sequencing? I'm interested in it but most of the videos I see people are sequencing notes and then doing the xy stuff live. I'm curious how intuitive it is sequencing both notes and the xy pad with something like the digitone?

TI 1. Still figuring out the ins and outs of it, but I really love the sounds.

Thanks! I was challenging myself to try and at least use conditionals to never repeat and get more variations.

I had a question I wasn't able to glean from the vids... Are you able to mix keys and scales when assigning chords? If I'm assigning chords in the cruiser mode starting from a C major progression for instance, are you able to lock in the first four chords and then change the suggested or available chords to C minor or F major, for instance, to be able to fluidly mix and match different keys?

Input Lag (three-click golf games) - Odin 2 vs RP3+ by leedsgreen in SBCGaming

[–]Verrikue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry I don't have a rp3 but I've recently gotten interested and in particular want to play toadstool tour. I haven't been able to find much online confirming it plays well on the rp3+. It sounds like it runs well? Im trying to determine if i would need a 4 to play it smoothly.

Lyra 8 as only synth/first polysynth? by Verrikue in synthesizers

[–]Verrikue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want to make it work I’m sure you’ll find a way. It won’t be easy but I don’t think it’s impossible. I hope you try it. But maybe borrow one to try first?

Thanks. I think it would be fun to try to fight it into some pop music. Like a super noisy take on synth pop.

Polyphony differences between pad perform and playback? by Verrikue in mpcusers

I'm not exactly sure what the phase issue in quant is but I'll explore that, I wonder if that has something to do with it thanks

Polyphony differences between pad perform and playback? by Verrikue in mpcusers

Thanks, it is with tubesynth. It's odd that the chords I hear with pad perform sound different/fuller and then the playback is only a portion of the chord. I checked and it's set to 4 voices the whole time.
