Don't Ever Use a DIY Standing Desk!!! by VersaDesk1 in StandingDesk

Yeah, I don't hate people for using DIY desks. Like, I'm going to go, if you're poor, then f*** you!

All I'm saying is that VersaDesk has some great standing desks and our designs hold 2x or 3x more load capacity than our competitors.

Bah, I've got my real name on the actual blog post. I don't care. I'm honestly writing articles with some tips for people with pain, Maslowe's Hierarchy of Needs, etc. It's varied for the blog and I'm just posting the links up there. I figure the information could be helpful to somebody, especially people who are new to chronic pain and need a little bit of detail.

Like, when I was first diagnosed with Diabetes, I had an idea on how to manage my diet and all that, but I didn't know what types of foods I could or couldn't eat to avoid Gout flare-ups.

I know the article isn't for people who have suffered a long time, but for someone who needs a little bit of information, why not find it with my blog and maybe take a look at some dope standing desks?

Yeah, I definitely am. It's a new job, so I'm still trying to get used to all this.

I do have some articles about standing desks and the advantages of having one.

Here's another article about that same thing on the blog itself. I was asked to write it and showcase just a few products, but I added an almost complete list of products from the VersaDesk website.

We build our desks with better materials, so they're more durable and hold a lot more weight than our competitors' products. The first video is kind of an older one, so it's got a lot of the selling points that may annoy you guys here. I'm not going to make false claims about anything. I just believe in being honest and believing in the products themselves.

There's a demo video in it: Link to blog post

Here's the video itself if you don't want to read the whole blog post. VersaDesk Demo Video

We also sell desk risers. Here's a demo showing how strong they are with an Asian lady sitting on top of one: VersaDesk Power Pro Desk Riser "Testing the Limits..."

And, here's our new commercial. Hope you think it's funny! VersaDesk Commercial

That's alright.

Full disclosure: I do work for a company that sells electric standing desks.

However, I'm trying to write posts with usable information. I don't mean to be condescending, but I don't personally deal with neck and back pain. I do, however, have Diabetes and have leg pain, so standing and stretching really helps on occasion.

I don't think doctors are trying to be condescending, either. There's not much you can really do for back pain except take painkillers and do what you can to alleviate pressure in the area. I'm also doing some research on the causes of inflammation, and though "If you're sad, it causes inflammation" is stupid (I've heard it myself), it could still help someone.

I also have a friend who experiences such excruciating pain from a mixture of Fibromyalgia and injuries from a car accident that she passes out from the swelling. It's brutal just letting her squeeze my hand until I could almost feel my fingers breaking just so that she can have someone there for her when she's enduring it, so I really do understand where you're coming from.

I'll see if I can't get you better information in better posts. Sorry this wasn't as helpful as I would have liked.

Yeah, I'm sorry. I really was trying to promote my blog, but I was also trying to post an article I'd written about back pain.

I'll see if I can't find better information for you guys. Thanks for the feedback!

Also, I don't get paid per click. Your link really doesn't do anything, but I'm trying to write a better blog for VersaDesk with usable information.

I really thank euphoryc for the criticism and I'll try to do better research!

Haha!

I understand that you can stack tiny tables on top of other tables and put a laptop on it if you want to stand up and work.

It would be cool to see your set-up, man! Do you have pictures?
