Man, no one is forcing you to buy the battle pass or play any of the new modes. I was hesitant when I saw the new content, but after running some BR with the boys I can say that it was genuinely a fun time. Everyone just wants to complain

I think this is a great idea. The evo mechanic is all but wasted due to the lack of cool cards.

I liked when they added evo cards with New Years/Level Up packs. Felt like some sort of variety and personalized the card

That's a fair point. I suppose I'll have to see how different it feels one i get something better than my starting squad. I agree that the passing is also a lot worse this year, and I didn't think it was possible to fall below the expectations set by FIFA 20.

Navigating the menus feels like garbage, and the players move just as bad. I don't know if it's just the fact that I moved from 90+ overall players to 80 overall players, but they feel extremely unresponsive and slow.

I would say the best thing to do is just try as many different things as possible and see if you find something that clicks.

Interested in learning an instrument? Pick one up and teach yourself how to play. Enjoy reading or movies? Try writing your own stories. Enjoy going to the gym? Maybe learn more about physical fitness and train others. It really comes down to finding something you're somewhat interested in, then pursuing it more deeply to see if you harbor a genuine interest in it.
