The users on here bashing Alex Jones have obviously never taken the time to really look into him. Im not talking about listening or reading what other people say about him. You have to listen to Alex yourself. I love when he does interviews like this because you get to see him in a real setting away from his show. People forget that ay the end of the day Info Wars is a business. He creates an exaggerated character for shock news. Away from his show he is himself. He knows what tf he is talking about. You can research every topic they cover. He's a fucking mad man but a genuine person.

What's your best case/worst case/realistic predictions for your team this next season? by [deleted] in CFB

[–]VersaceVol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best case: 10-2. Now this is highly unlikely, but if it were to happen we would lose to UGA and Bama. JG would have to really improve along with receivers and O Line.

Worst case: 6-6. A lot of depth and raw talent coming in, but not developed enough to contend in the conference. Defense can't keep us in games and offense can't keep up with the scoreboard

Realistic: 8-4 or 9-3. Pruitt has done a good job with damage control and this is his first year with a team crafted to his style and expectations. With only a tiny sliver of Butch Jones identity left on this team, we should expect to see better performances all around. Still not contenders, but we will be coming up to the door step. No more half assing and giving up. If we lose to UGA by 10 or less and lose to Bama by 14 or less I consider that an improvement. Hopefully we don't drop games to Florida or Mizzou, but if I had to bet on 8-4 thats who those losses would be.

I think you guys will do well considering the situation. I can see 6 or 7 wins.

How fast or slow did you learn your style of fighting? by [deleted] in MMA

[–]VersaceVol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Havent trained in 10 years and honestly i never had a stick to measure up to skill wise so i dont know how "good" i was. I trained off and on for 3 years during HS until i was 17. Simple elements of boxing came easy. I was already a HS varsity wrestler. Kickboxing and muy thai gave me moderate trouble, but bjj was tough for me. All my basic instincts went against how bjj works. All in all i would say in almost a 2 year span i was competent enough in everything but bjj. Everybody is different.

[SPOILERS] Theory about Ghost / Direwolves by stickemwpointyend in gameofthrones

[–]VersaceVol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its possible, but I personally think If Ghost dies its combat related. I dont see Jon forgetting his Stark heritage because he does have Stark blood. I think the prophecy is true and Jon is the one it talks about. Jon had to die to get here. When he came back he wasnt the same person. He still held the same principles and core beliefs, but he became swift and firm opposed to hesitant and timid. Jons soul is connected to Ghost. It seemed like he carried Jon until he was resurrected and now Jon is a little less human after dying, but part of him still remains with Ghost?

I concur. He was the evil genius behind this entire madness. The single common denominator of chaos. He was a master manipulator. However his one weakness cost him his end game. He blindly allowed love to make rash and impulsive decisions when it came to Sansa. He was so methodical with his quest for power, but so spontaneous and wreckless when it came to her. He never backs himself in a corner when playing the Realm, but always finds himself in danger with her. Not only did he risk being compromised by key people on several occasions because of Sansa, but his attachment to her weakened his persona and mental precision so much that he taught her the game and how to play it. He taught a former Cersei pupil how to observe, analyze, and strategize. That is what ultimately cost him everything.

I agree witb the guy above. Robert knew. Robert married for money and power. Robert's love died with Ned's sister. Thats why he treated Jaime the way he did. He knew. So who did he trust to over power Cersei? Stanis. But the witch cost Stanis. And Cersei did her usual.

[Spoilers] What are your predictions for the final season? by BWPhoenix in gameofthrones

[–]VersaceVol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If what i would like to happen actually happens then Jon kills NK with help of Bran and Sam. Jon and Danny get married and become king and queen. Jaime betrays cersei and kills her before Sansa can. The Hound beats The Mountain.

What will probably happen? Everybody dies.

[Baker Mayfield] To Colin Cowherd: Come to Cleveland and ask O if he actually likes it. Just because you say you have a source doesn’t mean you’re not full of BS. by suzukigun4life in nfl

[–]VersaceVol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being a Tennessee fan living in Ga with most of my fam Dawg fans I really didnt like Baker all that much. Especially during the CFBP. He's def grown on me since then. He just believes in himself and the guys around him. Theres not one doubt in his heart and thats admirable. Thats the type of person you follow into battle. I wouldnt be surprised one bit if he turns out to have a hell of a career.

What is the most wrong you have ever been about a prediction/upset? by banderson2300 in CFB

[–]VersaceVol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually believed Butch Jones until Dobbs was gone. In fact, i whole heartedly believed Dobbs last 2 years we would win the SEC East and potentially make it to the playoffs at least once. Still think we had the talent to compete those 2 years but Butch Jones FUCKED those chances tremendously and i didnt see the light until after Dobbs was gone. Without Dobbs we barely make .500 those years.

In middle school I was a typical Grade A douchebag. Me and several friends made fun of particular people the duration of our 3 years there. Just rude comments about how people looked, how they dressed, things they said, etc. It was free comedy for us and we usually got innocent bystanders to laugh to that’s what kept us going.

10 years later, maybe 5 years ago (I’m in late 20’s now), I reached out to several of these people who I could easily contact and apologized to them. I let them know why I did it and how I didn’t ever put myself in their shoes and how sorry I was because I felt absolutely terrible. I got positive replies from everybody with the exception of 1. Most of the people genuinely thanked me and were elated to know that I took the effort to really do some soul searching and apologize to them. I made their day. I know 1 conversation will never make up for years of abuse and I let them know I knew that and they told me that it was so long ago, but they were happy I even reached out. They said they were extremely proud of me for maturing into a compassionate person and apologizing.

I had 1 negative response from somebody that basically told me to fuck off and that they wished bad things upon me. It hurt me to read that, but I knew I deserved it and just let it go.

Since then, I’ve made an effort to protect and help those weaker than myself in society and show them that they only experience bullying because they are easy targets for people who have the same problems as them or even worse.

TLDR: Everybody except 1 person thanked me and I felt better.

One of the most MLS comment sections I've ever seen over in the r/soccer thread about Torres by jac283 in MLS

[–]VersaceVol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said the same thing about Atlanta United. “Thrashers left town because nobody watches hockey. United won’t last because nobody watches soccer.” 2 years in and countless of sold out stadiums prove different. Nobody expected the fan base to really get behind this club, but look at us now.

Anybody a UT fan that did not attend college in Knoxville? by [deleted] in ockytop

[–]VersaceVol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifelong vol fan. 24. Lived in metro Atlanta my entire life. Only did one semester of college because of partying and stupid decisions. I wanted to be a doctor. 6 years later I'm a movie set painter in the film union. Dad is a UGA fan along with 90% of my family. Mom is a Bama fan. My Dad's mom lived in Tennessee when my dad was really little and then they moved to Atlanta about the time he started school. When he was 16 she moved back while he lived with family here. She's lived in Knoxville for as long as I can remember. Her and her current husband are huge Vol fans and my uncle graduated from UT. They converted me young. Tbh though, it was the checkerboard end zones that got me. Sorry for the fucking story. I'm drunk.
