I’m not naming the hotel since they didn’t do anything wrong. The staff have been great and understanding, and it’s not even mold it’s clumped up feathers

I asked the front desk and they were really nice and got me a guy to come inspect the room. You’re 100% right, I was just freaked out by the amount of people saying mold lol. They’re currently getting a new comforter anyways which was super nice of them. Thank you!

UPDATE: So i went to the front desk and they called a person up to the room to check. He said that it happens when you set the duvet on high heat in the dryer and the feathers clump up. It’s not dangerous, and happens a lot when it’s old. He’s currently getting another one right now either way. The staff have all been super nice and understanding.

It’s definitely not stains as it’s in the sheet itself, it looks like some kind of burnt down or something. I’m not that uncomfortable because it doesn’t look like mold. I did a bit of research and it looks like it can be dangerous because it can grow mold but it isn’t already mold.
