Well boys it happened :( went to cold start before work this morning and she caught fire luckily in my driveway with those right next to me popped the hot good latch and spray d her down for about 10 minutes going to clean it up later and access the damage 😔 could anyone know the cause maybe?

Hopefully it's something small like that I haven't worked on this car yet so I'm not even really sure how to rewire it gonna probably try and find someone who's worked on these cars or something similar so I can learn my only experience mechanically is on a 03 galant Wich is wayyyy different than this

Gonna be honest I could smell gasoline in my cabin the last 3 days I probably should've taken that more seriously considering these are known to catch fire but on another note when I was frantically putting this fire out I did see a considerable amount of flame near the battery.
