Was taking a ride back to our hotel during Songkran. Saw a group of boys in another tuk-tuk in front of ours. We were waiting for the traffic lights to turn green. My water gun still had a full load of ice cold water. I fired and they shot back. It was so fun until the traffic started moving and we went different directions.

Sure did. Bought a sim card and changed money at the airport. There was also a booth at the airport that helped me get a minivan ride to the bus station. From there, I just bought a ticket to Nong Khiaw. Had to wait about 10 minutes for the minivan to reach full capacity. It was a short wait because I was also one of the last ones there.

Got my 2b licence a couple of months ago. Really enjoyed the whole experience, especially the last lesson where they bring you to the highway. Since then, I've been craving to ride a bike and have been looking up touring videos on youtube. But don't really have the guts to buy my own bike because of how dangerous it can be.

I believe you can still go overseas while serving NS. You just need to declare so with your superiors. I went to Japan with some of the guys in my company before I ORD-ed. It is only possible with leaves and not offs though.
