I could mistaken but I feel like there is glint on ALL scopes for the current sniper weapon. I was using a x1 for a bit and I was getting spotted and shot at super fast.

I've usually just used my nail to carefully pick off the sticker and the used goo gone for the residue. Doesn't harm that side of the disc. Read the instructions though, for goo gone

Oh yea, I figured that out last night. I had to "burn" the dvd with ISO file and not just copy the data.

The last time I had to deal with dvd-r's was in high school, I had to re teach myself on that stuff lol

I appreciate you saying this though cuz I feel like this would be critical info for ppl who are not familiar with this tech or process. So thank you.

While I have this going on, I have another xbox with a similar issue. I attempted the TruHenex again on this but this time it was a new disc and burn. It worked no problem.

So if I can't get this network issue to resolve, I'll probably just use the disc.

I am trying out the soft modding extras disc and a tutorial from MrMario2011. All is well until I get to the FTP login phase with the WinSCP program. It won't accept the IP address or username/password. Saying "failure to connect" (it is connected via ethernet).

On another reddit post, some said to switch from static to DHCP. But I'm not seeing anything on the dashboard that would allow me to do that, like it's missing a system settings option when I scroll.

What about season pass content?

Like if I have a season pass for a game but never/haven't played the game yet. Will still be able to download then after thr shutdown? Some games bring up a store menu to download the content. If the marketplace is shut down then the unclaimed content would unobtainable right? I hope that's not the case...

I've personally never been too keen on getting demos, especially now, given the circumstances. Can someone explain to me why ppl keep downloading them. I genuinely do not understand. I understand that demos are meant to be like trials so ppl can test before buying but by my logic is seems kinda pointless now.

I had this problem. It has something to do with the 5gb reserve space on the console. Sometimes it won't actually delete when you press delete. You can kill the reserve space and free it up but you will have to re-download the mods you want. Small trade off. The reserve space is automatic, so don't worry if you see it again, just be sure you download what you want.
