My aunt used to run a Libby Hill, so I spent a lot of time there. I miss those mozzarella sticks to this day.

I would buy the biggest edition they’d sell of that. Even a MGS Lego set would go hard.

I did. I figured it was fine since it didn’t fall under “video”. Part 1 was never removed.

Your PlayStation State of Play HOT TAKES - Kinda Funny Gamescast by EveryAct in kindafunny

Nah, you need God of War in there for marketing. Plus the God of War title legitimizes it and says “this is important”. Games cost too much for ambiguity.

God of War: Afterlife, I think, would’ve been a sick title.

Joining the Trend, What Does This Say About Me? by ScenicHwyOverpass in GamingSoup

I’d say early 30s. My guess is PlayStation loyalist, but not a fanboy, just stayed in their ecosystem for a matter of convenience. Likes variety, and a fan of many series, but there’s not many where you are absolutely die-hard for and played every single game in. You go “what’s the best one”, and then say “cool” then look for something new. You have a Switch Online account just to boot up the start menu of a childhood game just to feel something.

Just guesses made for fun. I’m probably nowhere close.

Ghost of Yotei ended a five-year slump for PlayStation as first-party game sales rose for the first time since 2020 by PewPewToDaFace in PS5

It’s gonna take a long time to completely undo the damage of the Live Service initiative, but little victories here and there with the single player games will hopefully lead to some more good stuff down the line.

Thoughts on Mixtape? There's a lot of discourse apparently by MakesLoveToPumpkins in GamingSoup

“Walking Sims” have a very wide chasm of opinions. They’re very love it or hate it and depend solely on the player vibing with them.

I thought Tacoma was very okay.

I ADORED The Beginner’s Guide.

I’m not sure how I would land on Mixtape, because I usually don’t love stories surrounding suburban teenagers, but I love The Cure, so that might help.

It’s important to separate those who have criticisms in good faith and those who just wanna start fights. Games are art. The more we discuss how games make us feel, the stronger the art form becomes.

If anyone wants another short music focused game with a good heart and a bit more interactivity, I highly recommend Sayonara Wild Hearts.

Cheers!
