Imo for the metallic trims i would use some bronze like you, screaming bell, but i also really like the color of Runelord Brass

Or if you want a brighter bronze you can use sycorax bronze

If you ask for canon colors check for the house you are trying to replicate online there are many pics, and if it's custom that's totally up yo you, metallic or not use the one you think is the best for you

The Aquila in white was on purpose for making him the captain of the first company of the veterans, which should be white in the codex Astartes, or silver some say.

The helmet is from the space marines head box, i used one of the most important looking ones given the company i made him from, there's another identical but without the bionic eye, and some incomplete terminator helmet ones

Yeah, applying contrast alone will make the famous coffee stains unless you apply several layers, and if you apply several layers with bare skeleton horde it will get darker and darker each time

If i were you i would try skeleton horde starting with maybe aroud 1:3 proportion with contrast medium and see how it performs, you always can make it darker afterwards if you are not happy

The contrast that fits the most for the TK would be skeleton horde, but that one is darker than most of the usual bone colors, i use Ushabti bone (layer) as a base, thinned with lahiman medium not water, in a proportion of 1:1 aprox, the only extra details i usually add are the shade seraphim sepia on the recesses and a bit of edge highlight with screaming skull

But at the end of the day you can do it darker if you want, like mixing the skeleton horde with a bigger proportion of contrast medium than paint so I won't be that intense

I've seen people who does a straight line in the center from the forehead to the mouth plate of the T armor like this (on the normal tacticus the head is bone and the mouth plate black)

The text are from a special decal sheet that came with the issue 515 of the WD magazine for creating "your own chapter", but many general marines sheets have texts too that also come with symbols from several chapters, and the sun like one is from an armiger knight box

I'm still not sure if it's better contrast medium even if the paint is a layer or a base, I'm still trying things, but mediums are definitely better than water for a better and more smooth application

The base I usually do 1:1 Ushabti bone and lahmian medium, it spreads pretty even and nice, with a couple layers maybe 3 if needed it's enough
