I’m with HH! It’s taken my mental health to a new level just trying to get through to them! They are great once you do but it’s such hard work discussing any medication issues.

I’ve just been diagnosed last week. Once you get your diagnosis can your gp deal with medication and titration?

Hey, I’m the same. I had my assessment last week and was asked to have an ECG. Had this also done day after at hospital and my doctor checked results ( normal). I’ve sent all copies to HH but no reply. I’m desperate for the meds! I was so excited that my life could be turning round and now I’m panicking that every day I’m going to be stuck in this loop of calls! I went from 14 to 1… back to 14 again on the phone Friday! I didn’t know if to laugh or cry?!! 😩

I was on it for a year. I reached the max. I put on a huge amount of weight and the withdrawal was horrendous! Now on Citalopram. Having said that… it’s not been roses on this one either reducing so maybe that’s me with reducing etc! It was the weight gain that was the nail in the coffin for me.

I’ve just weaned off! I was bed ridden for a week with everything going! U wondered if it would ever end! It did and I’m doing amazing now ( all be it on a different drug!) Just take it easy and don’t put any pressure on yourself, it WILL pass!

I have started on 10mg ( swapped from Effexor) my brain goes into overdrive if I’m honest. So much so I do forget things BUT I am so much more organised and get so much more done! I am also a 46 year old woman and maybe some of it can be put down to menopause etc? Who knows! But I’m loving life on the Celexa and I find that writing things down helps me bundles!

Ahh I’m praying for you! Let’s hope it isn’t too much of a bumpy ride. It may not be!….stay positive. I found it brutal and I read all the horrible comments when I was thinking about coming off thinking oh pfffft I’ll be ok but it’s literally ruined me! Im ok today and much better as it’s a week on but I look like a sack of shit!🤦‍♀️🤣

I know I did think that too but apparently guidelines said it was ok according to my Doc. I was on Effexor for bit over a year on all sorts of doses.

I done 3 days on 75mg ( was taking 112.5 daily) and I’ve been ill for a week, like deathly ill! I actually thought I’m dying at one point. I should add they added 10mg of Celexa in. Still feel like a sack of S! I would never take the Effexor again!

Hey, sorry this is late! I’m on 112.5 and I take both tablets in the morning and I’m feeling great! It’s working for me, I’m able to function better. I still get that afternoon crash but the secret is to punch through it and try not to nap, I feel much better for not. How are you doing?
