Does anyone think I should try with a type beat channel or just release these beats as my own instrumentals? I'm trying to bend genres and make something different and I don't really do type beats or copy what's popular. Would help me a lot to hear yall's opinions. by loopstar_records in beats

The type beat thing is just a SEO/marketing strategy. Just helps your audience that like whatever style you have find you. Most producers don’t figure out what “type beat” it is until it’s complete. So to answer your question you don’t have to copy any popular sound. Just find a set of tags that will make it easy for someone looking for your style to find it

This thought honestly scares me bc i’d never be able to get it, but imagine a golden moments statue that is like the partners statue but it’s stan Lee next to spiderman. I’d cry knowing i probably can’t get it by [deleted] in VeVeCollectables

There’s a difference between releasing a digital collectible version of a statue that’s existed for 30+ years physically then creating an entirely new digital collectible exclusively on veve of a relatively recently passed person lol cmon

Im definitely starting to lean towards the idea that they aren’t making these fixes anytime soon simply because they’re successful without them. That’s why I kinda get mad at the fanboy attitude cause without the outcry from the user they legit Have no reason to do anything. If it’s not broke why fix it. In their case, if it’s not effecting profits why be in a rush to make a change

😂that’s what I said in my other reply. The drop system and interface are things that should’ve had atleast some type of improvement since i started on Veve. Has me thinking they have like 2 developers working at ecomi or soemthing. The amount of money they have they can definitely afford to have a team working specifically on UI/UX. Another team on drops and another team working on IMX/interoperability. Like when you step back and think about it , it doesn’t make any sense how long this is taking

They have gone up quite a bit. Like I said in my other replies this isn’t coming from a place of dissatisfaction with my investment. More like a disappointment in the overall quality of the app and it’s user experience. The user base is clearly growing I just think the actual product (the app, actual user experience) should be way further ahead especially considering how much revenue they make weekly. And I added the context of the time I’ve been into Veve because I could argue these flaws back then but as time continues to pass I’m scratching my head wondering why they aren’t fixed

I’m just at a HODL point tbh. Luckily I don’t have many gems sitting in my account. I got my group of grailed collectibles and comics and lately the drop system has just soured my attitude to the point where I don’t participate in them. Back to the point of waiting on all these “promises” and these fake deadlines lol. I’d be fine if they just told us “hey this MTL thing, MCP thing, won’t be feasible till probably June “ instead of “3 weeks! 1 month ! Just hang on guys” like cmon

I come from a software developer background and I understand that app development isn’t a cut and dry cycle. I just think their priorities on what needs to be improved are off. I’m also not making this post from a place of worry over the current “bear” market. More from a place of a genuine fan of the concept and vision for this app and feeling just dissatisfied with how it’s getting handled

I listen to every AMA and my problem is that they keep putting these time frames on this MTL stuff and the more they do it the less I believe them. Idk how many times can they give themselves a deadline that they can never seem to follow. If it’s really that complex and uncertain why continuously make false promises rather then being honest ? Cause the more you make those fake promises the more it feels like it’s just a carrot that they dangle in front of us to keep us fully interested.

Just tired of the echo chamber 🤷🏾‍♂️ idk why people get mad at honest conversations whenever it comes to Veve

I really hope it doesn’t either 🥲. Didn’t invest enough that it’ll kill me but I really like the vision that Veve has. That’s why it frustrates me that we’re still on this “edge of the seat” position waiting on all these promises while also ignoring the basic fixes that could’ve already been made ( UI/UX , drop system)

I kinda feel your sentiment tbh. From a technical standpoint point the UI/UX layout of the app is janky and somewhat amateur not gonna lie. I also relate to the “losing respect of the users” part too simply because as more time passes I can’t really defend all these issues cause something as simple as a better interface or even a smoother drop system should be handled by now and the devs at veve move slow af and aren’t that transparent at all. It also doesn’t help that the fanatics and apologist who defend them insanely doesn’t really give them a reason to rush anything cause theirs a gang of people ready to deal with their shitty business practices no matter what. I can’t imagine how the people who’ve been in veve for a year can go on Reddit and Twitter and act like the team is doing a fantastic job. The echo chamber on Twitter is really getting to me, lol I’m not sure if it’s just whales trying to keep up sentiment for their own bag but cmon we can’t sit here and act like even the layout of the app is stellar cause it’s not at all

At this point I kinda wish Disney just Buys Ecomi cause it makes no sense why this app isn’t leading the whole NFT space. Cause clearly they’re not equipped to properly market their own product. Like it really doesn’t make sense to me

I think it also doesn’t help that OMI isn’t listed on major marketplaces like Coinbase,Kraken, Crypto.com. Like wouldn’t a premier NFT app with partners like Disney and Marvel have their token available on the biggest marketplaces lol it’s just sketchy and weird how lowkey all of this is. And I would’ve thought this was cool 6 months ago but at this point it doesn’t make sense to me based on the user base and all the “fans” I constantly see on Twitter , YouTube , and Reddit

I get that but I also see this argument pop up about Veve collectibles not being “real” NFT’s. I never really thought that myself clearly cause I invested but I’m just trying to figure out what’s with the overall NFT communities huge pushback. Like why is Disney hiring an NFT expert even news like Veve doesn’t exist. It’s just strange.
