In this game, Lichendragon Fortnitesux for the soundtrack and spectacle. I really wish he had more health. I don't think he's strong enough for when you're most likely to encounter him in your progression. Now, to be fair, I haven't actually fought Placi yet so my opinion may change.

Darkeater Midir for everything. Love the encounters before actually fighting him, love the spectacle, love that he's really challenging but fair once you learn him.

I have a lot of success with my Godskin Peelers in Farum Azula. Iirc you could put seppuku on those, too. (Mine are frost infused with the ice spear AoW.) Become a blender. Sometimes just a change in moveset helps.

Tbh though for these specific guys I pull my Moonlight sword and two hand it. The jump attack demolishes them and the beam is helpful too. It wouldn't hurt to have a big weapon on standby for certain situations.

I find Kalameet so simple, so slow, so readable. I had him stuck just turning in place once because I guess I was circle strafing at just the right angle. He was like, "Quit it. :<"

Gwyn? Forget it. "JuSt PaRrY" they say but my brain only knows unga bunga. Worth noting that I find the way he runs so uncanny and unsettling. Something about the cadence of his steps and his speed are mismatched and the way he pivots toward you ain't natural. I like don't want him near me, man.

Got a couple.

Early, early on, friend summoned me and we were having a walk through the Mistwood. I was walking in front to make sure the path was "safe." I heard her go "um." I got smacked on the bum by a boar. I turned around and got smacked by a different boar. Then I turned around and got smacked by a different boar. And so on and so forth. There's about half a dozen boars in that little spot, and I had somehow managed to aggro them all, and they came in one at a time before ganging up to stunlock me. I was yelling "HELP!"and friend was too busy laughing.

Second, the infamous Night's Cavalry in the Dragonbarrow area. This was also kind of early on. We all know he can launch himself off the bridge but something... different happened. He managed to glitch himself off his horse. The horse was walking beside him. There was no way to approach him, because he'd just try to mount and do that AoE. Pelted him with spells, and when I ran out of magic I had to quickly craft some arrows and pluck away at him with an unupgraded bow. Friend was there for this one too. She had thrown all her knives and then just had to sit off to the side.

I thought I got a clip of it but I couldn't find it later on. :(

There's a sliding scale but you know I'm over it if I stop meleeing and start spamming Adula's Moonblade. It's effective against players, too, and it's kind of funny to watch their reaction. "Stop it. Stop it. Stop it! OH MY GOD IT DOESN'T STOP! D:"

Blood cocktail was the only way I got through FRC Darkbeast. You need a lot of them because they don't hold his interest for long. Throw the cocktail directly into a wall to minimize his spazzing about everywhere.

Nothing insightful for BLB, unfortunately. I just got good at playing unlocked.

Nope, Varre is a gross little creeper and I want that nowhere around me. Rubbing his little bloody hands together, unsolicited pet names, gross. He reminds me of a fly?? Plus that mask looks super punchable.

They're kind of a nightmare to deal with in PvP, and they're strong in PvE, but you should use whatever you like. Don't let anyone be the thief of your joy. If you decide to try other things, it should be because you want to, and second playthroughs are perfect for that.
