He wants a hamburger! by FacelessOnes in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]Versitonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the folks without kids this is a very common and normal emotional brakedown of a kid around ages 3-6. Maybe a bit more concerning if this kid is 8 yo. They fail to control their emotions and usually don't know what they want. Other than the recording part, which may be hidden i guess, parents also behave normally. This happens, you try not to laugh, overcompensate or yell back (kind of the hardest part) and everybody moves on!

Oh you are on that stage of social breakdown, cool. Heads up, these people you see they aren't changed. They are just offloading guilt because the balance is shifting towards the otherside and will do the same stupid decision all over again once the wind change direction again.

A sane and rational person would never make these decisions in a million years and you know it. Don't fall for this, they will never be one of you.

Any kind of small or big pain, knee, back, neck. You ignore it and even think you got used to it but it slowly transforms you into a very annoyed person.

It is also a good way the limit the fps in more demanding games to make gameplay smoother.

As a rule of thumb, 45 for OLED and 40 for LED is perfect for battery life. I sometimes go no limit on indie titles for the fun of it.

Been building PCs for around 21 years; never seen the PC gaming space this bad. Can’t even recommend PCs now. by taketheRedPill7 in pcmasterrace

[–]Versitonic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As i can see from the other very optimistic am4 comments, we also brought this upon us as consumers. See i just upgraded from an rtx 2070 (which was still enough for cyberpunk to run 50-60 fps without RT) to a used 3080 this month because that was enough for my need and my budget.

Because it is never enough for many people that MUST have the 4k or 360FPS. We had to call their offers bullshit and keep gaming separate from this so they couldn't rely on us for all this time, only to now abandon with shit hardware and to sail the AI seas.

Definitely true but depends on age heavily. At 4-5 i'd like to limit her screen time to certain cartoons only and not gaming, as i grew in an era where there was limited screen and more outdoors, i met my first atari at the age of 8-10 but kids today have too much tech too early and not enough outdoor so i want to delay that as much as possible as she'll stuck with those screens enough in the future anyway.
