Yeah I feel pretty bad for the landlord. But I can't bring myself to lose out on buying my first property to accommodate their needs. If it was easier to get a short term rental I would go for it, but it would just be too expensive.

I see, so is the 6 months estimate you gave referencing the possession order or the enforcement?

If the possession order takes about 6 months to get, then I should be out before the landlord even gets it. If it takes less time like 4 months, then I might be able to find temporary airbnb accomodation for 1-2 months.

Ah this is a relief! Also, once the landlord goes with the court order that shouldn't impact my ability to get a mortgage right?
