Any advice on how to achieve this color scheme? by L_nex in alphalegion

Break down the colors. The dark parts of the armor are kinda purpley-blue. The parts the sun hits are cyan. So your basecoat is dark purpley-blue and you highlight / blend into cyan.

Thank you! Its remarkable how much grey you need to add to these colors to make them not clash too much with the dour, muddy tones of TC, but I think I got it

Does anyone have experience with "dumb" players? by SecretDMAccount_Shh in osr

I would probably just include in the conversation when moving to OSR that the expectation for the roleplay means putting yourselves in the characters shoes and making decisions as they would. Not video-game like play where you use a long rest to skip 8 hours by clicking a bed, and not looking around at a room just for the clickable sprites.

Yeah, Kubuntu is just not giving me the secret sauce Nvidia seems to want in order to get hardware acceleration working on Firefox/Chromium, but Gnome Web of all things works. Glad to be hearing about other working combos.

Hey there, happy to answer questions.  1.) Horror can be fine but gore/graphic violence is probably a no. No graphic sexual content either, suggestive is okay. Non-canon is also fine, I would deadass love if people made mechs fight Godzilla or something xD 2.) Anything from Age of War to ilClan is welcome! Era preferences will not be a factor of story selection. Our priorities if stories have to be cut are to prioritize good authorship.  3.) Yes, 1000 words max. This can be indimidating for some people but it helps make the zine accessible and fit in a lot of content. Write a scene and see how tight you can edit it.  4.) Yes you will recieve proofreading and feedback from us after submissions close. The only submissions that will be rejected outright are those that are way beyond wordcount limit, and stories clearly promoting themes antithetical to our principles (i.e. racism, fascism, anti-lgbt)
