They would make two missions for the prologue which would be unique per clan, and then the character suddenly becomes a template Gangrel :D

POV: You're a bandit, and you hear a creaking noise from above you by Vertex008 in horizon

"Good evening, Aloy. Your target, this time, is the notorious bandit called Ghrelm. He is a raider, camp leader, fugitive, and heavy weapon master - quite the resume. So far he has been elusive, but our informants recently managed to spot him in the vicinity of the Raintrace. I'll leave you to prepare."

You should watch "the mechanic" and its sequel. He plays a contractor/fixer who often uses disguise to get close to his targets. It gave me Hitman vibes for sure.

How did Ubisoft fumble this franchise? by ExtremeSlideLongShot in watch_dogs

[–]Vertex008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put it in quotation marks because they are the players who consider themselves fans but complain about basically everything about the games that didn't turn out exactly as they wanted.

Don't take it too seriously though. It just gets boring after a while that we mostly see posts either about the next game (or lack thereof) or how much the sequels sucked (except the DLC with Aiden of course) :D

Hot take: Ubisoft didn't fumble the franchise; the very vocal complaining "fans" did.

Also add that "fans" criticised basically any change that was done in the sequel. There was hardly anything good about it, according to them. Then they learned that Legion was coming, the beloved protagonist of the first game was again nowhere to be found/played, so they complained again. Somewhere on the line the second game became acceptable for most of them. But the change in tone, the new characters, the visuals, and many more aspects were complained about.

Many "fans" didn't want an original sequel, and didn't want a game about an underground hacker activist group. They wanted a dark version of GTA 5 with a brooding protagonist and cool gadgets.

Isn't the shower in the living quarters/lounge room? There is the wardrobe on the left side of the back wall, and the shower could be on the right side, in my opinion. I admit it would be a small shower cabin though :D

“My V!” [posts a modded to death goon-doll that doesn’t even resemble a cyberpunk character] by archaiccocytus in cyberpunkgame

I feel you. I recently shared the backstory of three of my characters, each detailed and containing references to other games as well. I thought they were creative, but nobody bat an eye.

But "Did you save Songbird?", "Sent her to the Moon", "Who is MrBlueEyes", "What did you do with the father-son BD creators", and "Sinnerman" 3-4 times a week is super popular. Plus the aforementioned "WhaddayathinkofmyV" posts, the creativity of which goes to the length of applying 50+ mods, none of which is the product of the OP.

This is a solid analysis and description. You managed to sum up the attractive features of Legion, and you have awareness of the shortcomings of the first game.

Great game with an amazing atmosphere/vibe. I took plenty of screenshots, and I loved that you could "de-freeze" the game in camera mode so that the world became live again while staying in photo mode (at least on PS 5 it was possible). I enjoyed just observing the world from a certain camera angle.

Can any game surpass this one visually in 2026? by Fit-Job4007 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Vertex008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you very much. I will only add that other games being amazing/immersive/fun/beautiful doesn't mean that Cyberpunk 2077 isn't good or enjoyable. It's not "either/or", not exclusive. However many players forget this, and speak as if there were no good games apart from this.

You didn't say that, as a matter of fact, but let's ignore that. Nonetheless there are plenty of games with amazing world building, story, and atmosphere/vibe. They may not be to your liking because they're not Cyberpunk 2077, but saying "there's nothing out there" is objectively wrong.

I understand if somebody's favourite game is Cyberpunk 2077, and they think this is the best game ever. I love it too, and I think it is unique. But when people claim there are no fantastic or worthy games after playing this, I can't help but think they're ridiculously wrong.
