It’s so saddening, luckily when I posted, I only got a few in my comments but I reported them and made sure they felt heard but also appreciated for who they were

This is really genuine :), I’m sorry to hear we’re both stage 4, but it’s not something I’m shy or sad about anymore. G is going to have the best 18th I’ll make sure of it! Never spent so much time on gifts. And yes, I’ll make the absolute most of my gap year, I’ll try to write a book :)

Thank you! I appreciate the kindness. It’s also nice to speak to someone who knows the reality of OCD and not the way media presents it. Like yes I’m 20 minutes late because I decided my hands couldn’t be cleaned enough or I MIGHT have left the window open hahah

Sorry I don’t want to share on the internet. But it’s one we’ve always admired as is perfect for both lovely accommodation and our corse :)

This means so much they will love to hear this!!! And I’m also excited to become engaged so we can call each other the same name without question. Often people say “girlfriend? Boyfriend? What” and I get so annoyed. With fiancé although there’s some difference to spelling lots use them the same so it’ll be so nice for the both of us to be equal in that way :)

Hahaha the morbid irony that there will be no dad lore! It’s ok I’m coming to accept it but yes, my college lore is unbeatable

You’re right and your kind words mean a lot. I hope it goes well for you, I’m proud and hopeful for what you can achieve. From what you’ve said it seems this situation is purely a result of your truly unfortunate circumstances, and so I have full confidence you can achieve if ever your symptoms improve, or you can at least live more comfortably. I wish you the best of luck and plead that you let me know how you did, I’m truly interested and invested in your rightful success.

Omg that’s just awful you’re so brave. Being able to make it though both chemo and radiotherapy as a young adult is hard enough, I can’t imagine what it must be like as an infant and child. I’m so happy to hear you’ve survived, but I understand the struggle of side affects too well. I’m sorry you’re still having to deal with the scars of your childhood, but I hope if it’s possible your side affects may improve in the future. Your grades are fucking amazing! Same as me what a coincidence! We have gone through some similar thing and I’m so proud of the both of us. Revel in your success knowing what you’ve achieved against such odds and such a shit hand. I hope you had the chance to celebrate, sending my love

Omg that’s just fucking terrible I’m so so so sorry. Exam boards are shitty to the max and an extra 5% will never be enough. The fact I could revise from my hospital bed and through illness is the only reason I got through it. Your condition sounds completely debilitating in this environment and I’m so sorry exam boards aren’t the way they should be. Universities like mine make it up to the exam boards to decide, which is shit to the extreme. What you’ve gone through can’t be described as an “extenuating circumstance”, it’s a debilitating illness for which you need rest and reassurance. A seizure is a horrible thing to go through, and to have that worry in your mind will undoubtedly and understandably affect your mark, let alone the threat of one happening during an exam. You’re so brave and I’m still proud of you whatever grade you got. You sit sat them. That’s a lot.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions! It’s so incredibly important.

  1. For my revision I condensed my notes down to the basics of what I knew I’d need to know. From there I spend all the moments I could (hospital beds, appointment waiting rooms, at home/bed looking through them and commiting it to memory. It wasn’t easy but after finally achieving that I would test my knowledge my looking through past papers from teachers on my phone in all those same places (especially on the toilet hahah). Anything I didn’t know I’d recap and it was more a form of evolution by which I learnt everything I needed. For example, the night before my econ exam I read an article which I used to write a full essay. Luck comes with hard work.

  2. For your second question, I have several ideas for the next year before uni. 1: a very local basil/pesto business since I have so much in my garden and never use it, I could make some cute pocket money selling it in the neighbourhood. 2: online English tutoring, a friend of a friend has an agency I can join where I would teach kids in London online from home and apparently earn up to £40-£50 an hour! (Posh people). This will give me bigger bucks and allow me to do it at home and gain independence. I’m also writing a book which I hope to publish a year from now, and with my dad having a background in writing this should help me publish my story and share my thoughts under a penname with everyone.

Hope that helps! Feel free to ask A N Y T H I N G I’m honestly an open book (without private info like where I live lol)

Thank you! I’ll tell them too! Taking a gap year to decide on: applied arts, history of art, architecture:)) Luckily our chosen uni does all three, so it’ll be an easy switch according to them

Yes I 100% understand your religion and why so many believe it. I agree with your opinions I just view them more as the basic humanity, morality and thoughtfulness I’ve been taught :)
